Atari stE disk drive faulty. Repairman in uk?

Hi my atari ste disk drive is faulty. Is there any good repairmen in the uk? I can pay. I’m not good at electronics. :D

Did you ever get this sorted? There are guides on how to swap them for a working one , some people sell modified pc ones on ebay to use in the ST. You don't need to be good at electronics really as it's two cables and a few screws. It takes more skill to modify it yourself. Most folk just swap them for a gotek drive emulator these days and put disk images on a USB flash drive.

Hi,
I just repaired a Epson 480L floppy in my Atari. The issue was a bad capacitor that I think controlled the floppy rotation speed. In general I think old grease and bad electrolytic capacitors are common culprits.
