Of course it's possible. In fact, it's the best possible combination. :-)

I'd be interested to know what kind of support the CT60e gives with it comes to bus acceleration, there are some pads on its PCB but not sure what they are for.

I am now running a Phantom bus accelerator on mine and it has turned my ct60e falcon into a mega machine! :) Now I can access higher resolutions and colour depths naturally without any extra hardware like blowup etc. Using Videlity I can get 1024x768x16 easily with no slow down, or I can have 640x480 True colour, which I am using. Using TC mode in Mint allows a much better desktop experience, especially for image editing or web browsing. I bought my Phantom from Ingo / Tuxie, who is the creator of the TT upgrades like Thunderstorm/Lightning VME etc. I had to create the Phantom clock patch myself as my machine required it, I followed Mikros website instructions for this.
Falcon ct60e 060 - 256mb ram - phantom bus and dsp accel // Atari TT - Thunder and Storm IDE 64mb ram - Lightning VME - USB LAN - Ati Mach64 2mb // Atari STM 4160 - 4MB ram - 16Mhz exxos 1.5 booster - Ultrasatan
