GIGA-ST by TEX

Postby AtariFan » Tue Aug 29, 2017 3:02 pm

Just found a small report in German ST-Magazin 12/89 about a customized Atari ST by TEX:

GIGA-ST.jpg

I'd guess it ran TEX-TOS 1.7:

It's on SuperGAU User Disk 114 - that's where I got it for my TOS special for ST-Computer magazine.

Are you really sure?

There is KAOS TOS - https://demozoo.org/productions/152563/

and

BMT's - CrackTOS 1.7, Version 1.1 - https://demozoo.org/productions/152562/

Might it be on a different disk?

ST News Volume 5 Issue 2:

At the Coding Convention, we also hope to get our hands on a new version of the ST TOS (TOS 1.7) that was made by TEX, TNT Crew and Level 16. It is very good, all Atari patches have been included and many more things have been added that now no longer require you to have loads of little programs installed in your AUTO folder.

I have posted about it before (troed)

Oops! Thanks for that reminder. The _unpacked archive I linked earlier does not contain the readme, it was just made from the include .arc. This is the full .zip with .arc and readme:

Sorry about that.

My message wasn't meant as a reminder. I was just quoting you and refering to the other thread.
