Got a VIDI-ST video digitiser.

Postby Gryzor » Mon May 24, 2004 10:14 am

Today I got this item in the mail, and the specs are sweet -at least for me who have never used something of the sort before.

Anyhow, I just wanted to say that if you want anything digitised, be it for a demo or for personal use, drop me a note and we can arrange it :)

Cheers

I used to own a Vidi-ST as well, it's a cool bit of hardware esp with the colour rgb splitter! :)

Got one that came as part of the Atari 1040STE I bought from someone in work .. no use to me as I don't have a video-recorder.

Anyone who wants to swap some original games for it, then see my notice in the For Sale/Wanted section.

I develop a free Word (for Windows) add-in that's available for Word 2007 upwards. It's a fix-it toolbox that will allow power Word users to fix document errors. You can find it at: http://www.mikestoolbox.co.uk

I have one of these coming in the mail this week. Does anybody have the manual in pdf format and the software needed to use this device?

I got the manual on paper and the software on a 3.5" disk. If noone else comes up with a reply, I'll image the disk and scan the manual myself... But if anyone does have it please step forward, I don't have much time lately :)

Busy this week with other non-ST projects in "home-time" so I can image the disk up today but won't be able to scan & PDF the manual until next weekend.

Well, you'll have to, I guess :D Imaging the disk is very quick, but scanning and OCRing...

The device is coming in a box with 17 games, so I have something to play with for a week.

I apreciate the effort it takes to scan the manual, thanks for all the help.

Any luck with the manual and disk image?

The device has come in.

It appears my driver floppy is corrupt... I can't read it :( So anyone's got that imaged?

Ok, I'll pull out my scanner and start scanning this weekend...

I can have a go at reading my original.

But with current PC problems (see other posts), my Atari ST monitor packed in last night. Power switch doesn't stay pressed in when you switch on ..

When it rains, it pours :(
