I downloaded and looked at your guide...it is excellent!!
Having said that, I'm having problems.
First off, I'm using HDDriver 8.11...don't know if that is the issue or not.
I'm using a 128mb mmc card.
I'm able to do everything according to your guide, however,it doesn't seem to stick, because when I reboot after making sure hddriver.sys was installed, the mste will not but from the card.
What I want to know is, am I wrong in assuming that we're supposed to be able to boot from card 1?
If so, what could I have done wrong...this is making me lose what I've left of my hair!!![]()
Mug UK wrote:Ok glad that worked. Certain types of cards would be problematic with the original SatanDisk but worked OK in the UltraSatan.

Last night I tried a Sandisk 256mb (2 of them actually) and although I could prep them with hddriver, and even install Magic 5, I cannot boot from either of them, so strange!
When I copied the contents of the sandisk over to a Kingston 64mb that I'd been using, the MSTE boots perfectly fine!!![]()
Any ideas?
Thanks

Is it possible to format the SD card for PC/Mac use with ICD, or do I need to buy HDDRIVER or PP Driver?
I am using the Ultrasatan with a STE on TOS 1.62. What is the maximum size for boot and non boot partitions ?
Thanks,

dvallet wrote:Hello,
I'm trying to make images from my 2048 ste to my pc with my ultrasatan.
I've not succeeded in reading my sd card on my pc.
I can have :
- an sd card to boot on my ste
- a second one to share with the pc, with a dedicated partition.
What is the best way to copy an st floppy to a msa (or st) file on the sd card ?
However, my pc doesn't accept my card up to now.
So, can anoyone can share the sd card config to have a partition sharing with a pc
Can i read it on : pc with xp, win7, win10 (i've kept all these laptop config)
