Now I'm debating if I should put language next to the software title, some of these are apparently non-English only?
Atari 8Bits: 800xl, 600xl, XEGS, 800, 130xe, 130xe (fully upgraded (soon!))
Atari STs: 1040STf (broken shifter), 1040STe, Mega STe, TT030, Falcon (CT60e, SuperVidel)

Well, all the information that you provide is something positive. Indicate the language if you want.
The German language still resists me, but I am a professor in English language, it is evident. XD.

I'd wouldn't call Inshape as "still developed", the last version is 8 years old...

If shareware is also commercial software than just don't forget Lonny Pursell's AtarIRC. I think he still supports it and you still may buy it. :D

Shareware certainly counts. Link?

I may make another list of projects that have gone open source.

It's freeware. Take a look at the old firebee site:

http://acp.atari.org/

Just do a little search in your browser and you will get all the information about it. You may use "645762849" as the key for version 2.30. 8)

:D Yes, if you can see the original post I added Photoline in it with the link and the note about possible future support. Though I guess I didn't add the Serial Number to that line.

Sorry. I just didn't recognize it. I'm not sure if the Computerinsel is still supporting the atari version. I fear not otherwise it wouldn't be freeware anyway. They are supporting mac OS X an Windows now:

I think, first we should ask author again if he is still ready to release new Atari version and how many users he demands. As I understod he would also provide FireBee version.

Agreed. The program looks amazing, I still need to test it out though. Just happy I mostly was able to get at least SAMBA reads kind of working for the CosmosEx last night so I can download to my share then copy to my Falcon. It was due to that why I haven't tested it out yet. Little by little I'm getting 'there'.

Nice! Will have to download that when I get home. Had to buy 9.x when I got back into Atari ST stuff, because the last cersion I had was 7? But then I got the upgrade to 10. Awesome that it is very much still supported.

Unless I missed something, the Atari version is in German only. That's a showstopper for me.

I noticed Armin Diedering still has Resource Master for sale at http://www.ardisoft.de/Produkte/produkte.html.

Page was last updated in 2010, but I've emailed to ask if it is still sold. Awaiting his response.

*Edit* His homepage update from 2008 say it is freeware. :?: :?:
ResourceMaster (RSM), Dick2 und Wheelan sind ab sofort Freeware.

Let's see what he says...

Yes, ResourceMaster has been freeware for years. Armin also released an updated version 4.0 (maybe only a recompile for the Coldfire) but it's hard to find.

Papyrus:

I asked Hendrik Ramps to release Papyrus as freeware for TOS since they do not sell anymore Papyrus for Atari ST and he wrote me:
"As for the Atari ST version, we couldn't officially make it free at the moment - we just don't know the right implications that would follow, especially as we also had distributors involved (HiSoft and 16/32 Soft if I remember). Maybe in the future? ;-)"

Hmm, I wonder if the other possibility is to find another distributor so we could pay for it? Though in that case, it'd be nice to get a new version of it ported!

Hendrik should contact HiSoft and 16/32 since he (and Uli) probably would release Papyrus as freeware.

There can not be newer version of Papyrus for TOS (latest is 10) since they move from TOS based libraries to Qt for Windows, Mac and Linux version (they use custom TOS libraries until version X for all other OSes).

Ah. That's right, and if I recall I tried to see about buying a version for Linux, but I think they're all in German... Or I couldn't figure out where to actually order it.

I also attempted to buy Pagestream for Linux, but it hasn't been updated in so long and still uses GTK+ 2.x it doesn't run in modern Linux distributions (I mean I'm sure I could get it working, but who wants to go back to gtk+ 2.x?)
