Demo outputs crazy horizontal mess

Postby AnakiMana » Tue Jul 15, 2014 11:16 pm

I launched a demo from the sdcard that came with my UltraSatan, and the music worked but video on my SC1224 was wildly scrolling horizontal lines of craziness.

Is this because I'm running PAL software on a US/NTSC machine? If that's my issue, is there a utility I can run to lower my refresh rate? Or is my monitor hardware-limited? I prefer viewing these on real Atari hardware instead of emulated on a PC.

BTW, I'm using an STE w/TOS 1.06.

It's probably an overscan demo which was produced before Atari corp released the STE line of computers. Which demo is it?
