Well, if you use it for selecting a File... then anyone will do actually.
It seems that Selectric has slightly more function... and looks nicer.
Normally what happens is that I test a new s/w and just too lazy to roll back, if nothing goes wrong.
It just got stuck until the next one comes along... boxkite which seems to work for Mint.
Frankly, I have not tried Selectric with Mint.
