Noctua FAN and MiSTer Problem

Postby field3d » Sat Jun 29, 2019 9:40 pm

Hello. I installed a noctua fan model NF-A4x10 FLX 12V in my mister 5.5. In the box of the Noctua fan it comes a converter from 3 to 2 pins but when you turn on the MiSTer it doesn’t spin. Anyone knows how to adapt the noctua fan to the MiSTer?

This is the fan it doesn’t working:

The 5V version works without problems for me (https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B071W6 ... UTF8&psc=1)

And to connect to the MiSTer you used only the 3 pins to 2 pins included in the in the Noctua’s box, or you modified that cable?

No, had to modify the cable as the 3to2 converter did not fit the one on my IO board.

The 5V Noctua worked like a charm. And the converter included in the box 3 pins to 2 pins worked incredible well.
