i'm done with Amstrad core for some time. I think it's already robust and recreates the HW at 99%. Catching the fleas in every Demo using hardware quirk is very hard job. And with every such new flea, amount of work increase 10 times at every step. For 100% replica the HDL should be based on decaped chips to repeat every possible quirk and even bugs.
Hi Sorgelig thanks for this core. I grow up with a 6128 so love playing with this core. I hear what your staying about being finished with the CPC core for now but have you any plans to expand it to the plus range and with it the gx4000? Since a flash cart came out there have been many tape & disk convertions to cart format with controls hacked to use the keypad. http://www.cpcwiki.eu/index.php/Converted_GX4000_Software
Thanks for the reply, the only advantage would the consitance of controls so only having to map the once and not per game. Shame it's a lot of extra work and very much only a nice to have, your efforts are better focused elsewhere . I actually have a gx4000 and flash cart myself and can tell you the official plus games are all a bit crap.
