Bally Astrocade - control

The Bally Astrocade is another system I did not have back in the day and happy to toy with it now:

On the controls, it is hard getting used to having a giant picture of an Astrocade flipped sideways on a PC monitor for reference. :) After fumbling through the menu, I'm ok with the arrow keys and space bar, but anyone have an easier suggested way or updated core with joystick support? I have no complaints of any core but always happy to see them progress.

On my Github is a Core with Joystick Support, and without feedback(except User DROG)

Gehstock, your Astrocade core seems to work. The image is fine at 15 kHz. The only thing I'm struggling with are the controls. What is the default keyboard mapping?

And by the way: The controls are rotated by 90 degress in the Berzerk core although the game is intended to be played on a horizontal screen. An option to fix this is missing in the core.

I tested the core from https://github.com/Gehstock/Mist_FPGA/t ... ocade_MiST that was in the snapshot folder. It works, but compared to the original core, I cannot see a difference. I have two DB9 controllers and a USB one plugged in and none of them control the player in my tests. Did I download the correct core?
