hey, thank you Penguin!
If you're wondering what Charming Chaos is, it's basically a random music generator (through midi). I've launched it into Hatari, connected a virtual synth to the midi port, and got some music (noise). You can program it carefully and it's quite fun. Here is a presentation:http://www.exxoshost.co.uk/atari/mirror/tamw/ecow.htm
If you're into this kind of random algorithms for creating music, you can also try those:
- AMI (Algorithmic Musical Instrument). I wanted this one for a long time, I've read a Jean-Michel Jarre who said in an Atari ST mag that he used it in his "En attendant Cousteau" album. http://www.zoolook.nl/forum/printview.p ... 67f72d0006
You can get it from there: http://cd.textfiles.com/806atari/701-800/777/AMI.FIL/
