Hey! I'm trying to create back-ups of my parents' files. However, at every single file, we need to insert disk A, then insert disk B. Is it possible to copy multiple files into RAM at once, and only then insert disk B again?
By the way: there's a file which I successfully copied onto my diskette, and I can see the file in Windows, with the correct size. However, when I try to copy it from the diskette onto another disk, it says the file is corrupt. Is there any chance I can get the program off the floppy disk anyway, and get it to work? :/
May be one of several incompatibility due to disk format (Atari or MSDOS format) and disk size (360KB, 720KB or 1.44KB) detection on Windows. Best to take a 720KB (depends on your Atari disk drive) and format it in MSDOS - the ST can read a MSDOS format diskette while Windows cannot read an Atari formatted diskette reliably. Search this forum for how to format in MSDOS - there are some parameter.
Or Google for DR CoolZic ( mod here) documentation on these topics at his site.
