How to create a RAW USB drive?

Postby Bikerbob » Thu Jul 25, 2019 3:09 am

I have used translated drives on the COSMOS.. I know the unit allows for RAW with a USB stick.

How do I go about turning one into a raw drive so that I could format it with HDD or PPHD?

Right.. I do too.. but the question was.. because the manual says you can.. How would you create a RAW USB drive? The SD is simple because only 1 device could be the SD card. You assign it an ID number.. and the HDD program will see it.. but with USB you could have 4 or more USB drives in the cosmos if you were using a hub.. how do I tell it which are raw and which are translated.. and then format the raw one?
