What is the timeline for shipping? The last date on http://atari.sk/cosmosex-3-0/ is 9/27/2018 when the PCBs were received.

Two questions before I order two CosmoEX 3?
1. Can I replace that Rasperry Pi 3 board with PI 2+?, because I don't want any wireless connection to my Atari.
2. Can I install it to Atari Stacy?

About question 2: STacy has ACSI. CosmosEx 3.0 supports ACSI. So, let*s quote president Obama: Yes, we can.

I am interested in 1 CosmosEX 3.0 if you still have any..... rcamp48
was going to buy an sh204 for $300.00 Canadian. Will Cosmosex 3.0 provide an interface to a scuzzy drive enclosure, either 25 pin or 50 pin ???
If so I am sitting on approx 200 of these self powered cases with scuzzy drives in them, and they are going cheap. If anyone is interested PM me.

CosmosEx works as either an ACSI unit, or a SCSI unit. It's not a SCSI interface.

External SCSI HDDs are always in demand, the enclosure alone could probably sell for $30 or more, depending on looks, wear and tear.

According to their website, there's still a dozen or so that haven't paid, and a handful on the waiting list, so theres still a good chance to get one.

They have not replying to any e-mails since at least September. I have been trying to pay for mine, but they have not replied to my request for an address to transfer funds. So I have no idea if this is still happening or not.

They regularly put up updates at http://atari.sk/cosmosex-3-0/

Last update was february 2nd, and then they were still waiting for TME to deliver the ICs needed. (They originally thought they would be delivered around new year, with cosmosex to start shipping by the end of january)

But yes, would be nice with another update, even if they have no news.

Yes. I don't mind waiting but the lack of updates is a bit concerning.

I check that URL every day and would leave a message, but you have to sign up to do that. That is why I leave messages here.

I also do not mind waiting and would like updates more often. I got on the list in Aug. I cannot imagine how those feel that were first on the list.

Three weeks later and still not a word. Last update from them are now over 2 months old and the production was started over a year ago. I don't want to sound pessimistic, but I'm starting to doubt that we'll ever receive these units. As I've said before, I have no problem waiting as long as I'm updated on what's going on. Silence is a bad indicator to me.

I have read that whole page. But I cannot understand, are these still available to order? If yes, how do I place an order?

I don't think so. Most are paid for and if some orders is not paid then there are a waiting list for others that are willing to place an order. You could try and mail them, but I don't think you would have much luck to get a reply.

Doubt it. I'd guess that they'd have announced that on their page If that was the case.

As stated on the CEX website they are going in production at the end of May by a soldering factory for two weeks. Then each unit is going to be assembled, tested, packed and so on. The plan seems to be doing 5-10 each week. First to order is the first who gets one. So 10-20 weeks at least for all to be ready. I guess they are going on vacation as well as the rest of the world in the summer time so add 4 weeks on top of that. So earliest someone is getting one is end of June?

Hopefully we get some info soon from them.
