This is very good news!!

I hope he could add rgb support on all the cores for a truly arcade feeling.

Thanks, Gehstock

I think code and binaries must be copied into the main repository.

Has anyone contacted him? Just wondering why he plans on deleting stuff again... just seems a little unconventional.

 I remember when Gehstock used to write here... I don't know what happens, but it's strange and even sad :(

Ericgus and me did a backup of cores and sources. We still don't know why Gehstock deleted all his repositories.

Do you think if it's a good idea to upload Gehstock's arcade and computer cores and sources on main MiST Github?

It certainly will be beneficial for all the community.

If Gehstock doesn't express his will, I propose to put them on the official repository, with clear references to their author; if he doesn't want them to be public, he could always ask for their removal.

They will probably circulate anyway, as other copies may exist, so it's probably better if they are public.

Just my opinion.

I can confirm the bug report:

The v1's screen rolls vertically, the v2's picture is unacceptable for my TV (it even corrupts the framebuffer, 'Nincs jel' means 'No Signal').

I re-test the 2 RGB cores:

- pacman(RGB Output Test#1).rbf
the game screen is cropped vertically

- pacman(RGB Output Test#2).rbf
no signal on my setup

With the first core the signal is not always hooked

Only RGB Video Output test(have a nice clear Picture(needs a little shrink) over Scart Cable), no more Functionality

Hi Gehstock!

This version is 100% compatible with my picky Samsung LE40B650, but the picture is a bit distorted, see attachment.

Actually, previous versions also work on my BenQ BL912, the first one is standard 576i50Hz, and no vertical scrolling, the second one is absolutely non-standard 720x288@43Hz:

So I think not only the core may be problematic, but the display's tolerance in aspect of unusual resolutions and refresh rates counts also.

You wrote several times that you're 'only a welder', but I think you should be proud of it!

We, regular users, who dont't have the necessary knowledge to develop Verilog/VHDL, are very grateful for your work and aprreciate it!
