[SOLVED] SuperVidel's DVI connector's screws

Postby mikro » Thu Jul 13, 2017 5:30 am

Hi,

maybe this is really a dumb question but I couldn't overlook that standard DVI male connector is possible to plug (of course) but not possible to fasten -- it seems like on the SuperVidel's female connector there are just holes but not for screws? Does anybody know a way to fix it (other than unsolder the connector...)

Nobody has ever wanted to tighten the connector, only me? Tsk tsk tsk. ;)

Calimero: although it doesn't answer my screws question, what a novel idea with the power switch hole! But how did you fix the VGA connector to the case?

It really was a dumb question. The solution is more straightforward than I thought:

i.e. just buy any generic DSUB socket screws and that's it.
