I tried lowering my CT60 frequency from 95 to 66MHz. The game did not hang at the menu for me.

BTW, how much FastRAM do you have? I haven't checked what the minimum needed amount is.

512mb TT-RAM and 14mb ST-RAM. Sometimes I get a black screen when I start it and sometimes I can arrow one menu item down before It hangs and I have to do a hard reset to get back on track. I run my CT63 at 90mhz usually, but tried 66mhz when I experienced the hangups just to be on the safe side.

Just an idea: is the motherboard boosted?

It's a CT63. So unless Knezzen has a Phantom/Nemesis/similar, there will be no bus boost. I ran the game successfully with my Phantom activated.

It sounds like a timing issue. Knezzen - Do you have the SV's clock lines installed? Do you have a decent bus clock buffer mod installed?
TT030: 4MB/16MB + Crazy Dots, Mega"SST" 12, STacy 2, MegaSTE, STE: Desktopper case, IDE interface, UltraSatan (8GB + 512Mb) + HXC floppy emulator. Plus some STE's/STFM's

No, the motherboard is standard apart from the patches mentioned under "Some problems to solve (with some solders)" here: http://www.powerphenix.com/CT60/english/fitting63.htm. So no motherboard boost what so ever.

Dal: I do have the SV clock lines soldered in place. I don't know what you mean by clock patch though. Can you elaborate?
Is it the mod mentioned on Rodolphes site?
Other regular Falcon games and patched ST games works like they should, as well as demos. Just that Natcar wont work.

Will record a clip of what happens when I try to start it and put it on youtube. Might make it easier to diagnose.

Knezzen, I think you should try the new FW11 variants, because I think you may have a SV FPGA that is too close to its timing limit, and that problem only shows up when you run Natcar that uses heavy blitting. :)

Glad that you like it
Next up is jumps, like in SuperCars 2. But it requires a major redesign of the different graphics layers, and I'm currently moving to a new home, so it will not happen soon. :)

Just had time to try it and like it very much! Runs fine from a FAT32 partition!

Sorry, it has no sound and I cannot control the car, while holding the camera. You still got an impression what it is.

Wow! It looks very polished! Thanks!
I can not use my Falcon currently :( but this will be first thing to fire up! :)

btw what "engine" did you use for Doom games in other video? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QJhujbNm81Q
it would be interesting to check same thing under MagiC! ;)

Uploaded a video, looks like I need a Y cable to get audio on my capture device, but here it goes, 80Mhz but there is some slow down.

Seems to me whenever all the other cars are on the screen it starts to slow down. I'd also like to know why xboot is all garbage until I move the mouse over things... Not sure if everyone's SuperVidel does that, or I'm just special.

I never used xboot ( or any other boot manager ) so do not know how those work and if it is possible, but try to move SV_XBIOS.PRG as to be run as first in AUTO folder.

Hmm, that's a good idea. I think I initially had it set up that way. For what it's worth it still displays it correctly out the native Falcon video output.

Use SimpleBoot instead of Xboot.

Hmm, I think I tried that one too and got the same results. Downloaded from here;
https://sites.google.com/site/stessential/boot-managers

I'll give it a try again and see if that fixes the issue.

It's weird, I had tried the Worms port on my falcon and couldn't get it passed the TSCC intro, but then when I correctly installed the VGA sync cable to the SuperVidel now it works fine, so maybe I'll make a video of that next.

I guess because it uses the original VDI which in turn uses the Blitter which is not snooped by the SuperVidel. Start after NVDI.PRG+SV_XBIOS.PRG and you're good.

Hmm, interestingly when I put both before xboot (or simpleboot) I get a white screen of nothing (checked both DVI and VGA, though didn't check the Videl output). But if I just but the SV_XBIOS.PRG in front of xboot, it shows up fine. Granted that causes it to either load SV_XBIOS.PRG twice, or something else is crashing, though the desktop shows up fully, so I'm not sure what that is.
