That's the program putting colour on icons... in a dialog box. Not only the falcon or the TT but both with a more colours video mode can do that as well.
For the TT, you will need extra video hardware if you want high rez and high colour.
For falcon, you can get away with stock falcon on 800x600 in 256 colours.
JFL programs looks great with colourful icons in menus and dialog boxes.
