Greetings lotek_style!

That's correct, if two people constitutes a group :) , I am Mr Flash BTW. Didn't know we were part of Demozoo, awesome! :mrgreen: I did see our demo on pouet.net a while back when I did some searching for the fun of it, I was quite surprise to find it there.

We did release a sample demo called "Ricky's Hand", but the disk was super über hyper formatted to make room for all the samples :) . So I think my disk was lost really early on, but I will have a look, I am actually currently transferring all my ST disks to PC. I know the demo was spread, I would love to find a copy of it, but I don't know if any disks have actually survived to this day. I did find the graphics I made for it, so that's available ...

We did work on at least one other demo, but I don't think we ever finished or released it. I think it was called "The Extremely Weird Demo" or the "The Extremely Strange Demo". My memory is a bit hazy about this...

You know, I think like you but where are the floppys...

I'll come back to you for sure ;)

It seems to be interesting to have a special article in this magazine from the secret of the Atari TOP-LEFT-RIGHT-BOTTOM remover borders:
1/ Alien, your technical point of view of the Fullscreen
2/ Top and bottom remover border in application with our framework with examples (Github)
3/ Colors+fullscreen+STE = colorfull picture with the point of view of Zerkman

A méditer donc :coffe:

So far no trace of the Rickys Hand demo, but I do have some unlabelled disks, so I am crossing my fingers. I did find my own first sample demo; "Miami Vice", it's pretty awful :mrgreen: ... but maybe include it for preservations sake?

I am also coming across various small demos, do you have a list of anything Demozoo is missing? I doubt I have something that's not been preserved already, but one never knows :) ...

Well that's what people always think... but if you start to dig deeper you realize that we are missing a fornicating lot :)

Please check the Excel-sheet (now 1 month old) for the missing stuff:

ftp://fujiology.untergrund.net/users/lt ... ve_2_1.xls

Also everything -not- listed is missing aswell :)

Askja wrote:Hi all !

I need your help.
I am making a gigantic picture with all the logos of the demo/cracking teams on the ST and Falcon.
You can see here :
http://pandafox.fr/temp/logosST.jpg

462 logos until now!
The red lines = a group from...
The blue lines = at least 1 commun member

I need you to help me to complete it.
If you can tell me some links between groups or if I forgot groups...

Also, you can see the picture without the lines here :
http://pandafox.fr/temp/logosSTnolinks.jpg

Where is the POV logo? Officially I was in Adrenalin (top right ish) but I wrote menus for several groups including "The Source", Northside, Pure Energy + loads more.
Mac Sys Data/Persistence Of Vision

Instructions said to install Windows 2000 or better so I installed Fedora.

Ryo: We don't have much from your group and hardly any information... maybe you can supply some more productions (demos, gfx, msx) and a group history?

Do you mean your upper/lower overscan in the github core.s file? I found your use of "NO_BORDER" confusing since by that you mean leaving all borders. I didn't check the code in detail, but upper/lower overscan's pretty simple except that opening the upper border adds a different number of lines on older ST's (such as Belzebub's of ST-CNX) than on newer ones (such as everyone else's). You can either write adaptive code, to figure out how many lines have been read at the end of the screen, or just open the lower border twice (see my old ST Mag articles, I don't remember the actual numbers offhand).

A quick message to say I still work on the final version of the picture.
Need a lot of time to make something clean, well organized and complete. More than 500 logos now, but not finished yet!

Photoshop :wink:

Maybe you can use graphviz.
It seems possible to assign custom bitmaps to nodes (I've never tried though) http://www.graphviz.org/wiki/how-create-custom-shapes
You can also set visual of edges (color, line style)

Minimal syntax for graphviz script is very simple :

digraph
{
A -> B;
B -> C;
A -> C;
A -> C;
}

So I imagine it could be easy to maintain the set of logo files + 1 ascii script for the crews graph, even it would be possible to put it on github

I have made a small test => something like this seems to work:

digraph
{
A [image="icon1.png",label="",color=white]
B [image="icon2.png",label="",color=white]
A -> B;
B -> C;
A -> C;
A -> C;
}
