Compared to others a very nice DCK Demo :)
I miss one thing Tomchi: where are your digi musics? You always said you where using MODs in your DCK stuff?

On the Moddisk, let me finish my studies (in the upcoming 2 weeks) and I will see to get back to that one.

I was going to say put it on http://www.pouet.net but someone already did.

Only 1 thumb-down so far, which is amazing for a demo-kit prod. It's nice work!

Glop glop !

Postby Tomchi » Wed Oct 24, 2007 6:45 pm

Well, thank you everybody :D

Thx for watching, huh ! At that time 44 downloads, that's much more than the number of atari owners I ever knew in my life !!

Thx for your comments too !! although I suspect that some people tried not to hurt my sensibility in their comment. 8)

Anyway, I'm really pleased with these encouragements, that's a very fair behavior toward a quidam like me.

In the meantime I promise not to flood the forum with dck screens ;)

That's the 2nd time I make something on the ST. The first time was for the french dck contest in 1991 or 2 I don"t remember. (ranked 32 out of 32 prizes :P ) . This time I tried to include some gfa code for the loader and the end/hidden screen to produce a decent dckmo. But I'm not used to it. Some people said I was arrogant in the scrolls of oldckool, I replied no but then maybe I was, I didn't aim that. 14 screens ... What the hell can you say except your proud of yourself when you manage to do what you wanted after days and days of brain malaxing? Nowadays prods are cool coz' they don't iclude that much scrolltexts ;) I'm no coder or electronics freak but for me it's a million times funnier doing something on the ST than on the pc ...
Maybe because of the fun it gave me watching those demos with these gorgeous tunes in the good old days when we were young :P

So now I'll try to code a little and do my best for Noextra ...

And err, MArcer when will we be able to order this DVD ? :D
Maybe I'll ask in the right topic ;)

Tomchi.

I think the difference is that if you release something on the pc, everyone expects to get it for free and no-one says thanks. If you release on the Atari ST, most people say thanks and they also use what they downloaded. I haven't downloaded it yet but I will say thanks anyway. For contributing to the Atari community. :D
