I have load and loads of original disks that I've collected over the years, quite a few still boxed too - is it as simple as running something like 'makedisk' ? or do I need some weirdy beardy hardwar like the 'weasel' thing or whatever it's called thats u...

That "ProDrive 80 C" one was nice. Very slick for a typical "beige" peice of computer hardware. . yes, it is a neat piece of kit and it works fine, though stupidly for some reason I thought i'd given it away and so sold all the disks on ebay, then a few months later I found the ...

Re: Corrupt TV Output

Hi, I have just inherited an Atari 520ST. Connected it all up and plugged into the TV. Tuned it in and all I get is a white screen, with a random pattern. Has anyone experienced this before? I am new to Atari systems but am a PC expert. If it was a PC i'd say that the BIOS is corrupt. It doesn't ma...

connect the drive to a apsre molex power connector in your pc - this will show if it's the progate psu at fault or not - if the drive doesn't spin up when connected to your pc, then it's most likelly scrap. if it does spin in your pc, then the progate psu may be duff, but that can be replaced easily...

format the disks on your atari, the pc can read and write to them no problem.
then just copy them from the cd to the floppy using windows.
