Re: CosmosEx - new device for your Atari ST

I think that a viable option is to use MSA to create MSA images and then batch convert them all to .ST on a PC using MSAconverter (http://msaconverter.free.fr/index-uk.html)

Re: CosmosEx - new device for your Atari ST

For imaging floppys to .ST u can use Petari's Floppy Image under Windows, (provided u have a Windows PC with a working FD and u install the driver that comes with the program).
u can look for it at

BIG - Big Is GEM v.2 by Claude Attard

I have no idea if someone is using this library written in Pure C. But If you do, I have taken the time to create a Word document of the original documentation, which might be useful.
Here you go...

Re: MiST - FPGA ST

This happens sometimes on a real ST as well. I guess when this occurs in MiST or Steem/Hatari it shows us how accurate the emulation is. Uhm... I think the reimplementation is fantastic and gets real close to the original... but since I own 1 1024 STE, 1 1024 STFM, 3 MegaST2, 1 MegaSTE, 1 TT and 1 ...

Re: MiST - FPGA ST

As for the keyboard issue: I have noticed that when I am starting emulation in Steem on my PC sometimes the keyboard gets fired by itself and starts clicking at boot time until I press a key.. then stops and the problem doesn't occur again. On the Mist board it is fired quite often... the most notab...

Re: MiST - FPGA ST

- I get regular keyboard glitches, where all of a sudden without typing anything i'll hear the key repeat noise very fast as if a key is held down. If I hit any key it goes away.

This happens to me as well. Running firmware_140710_r299.upg and core_140515_r268.rbf.

As far as I can tell there is nothing like what you mention in the Italian version of the manual... but maybe it was only in the English version.

Re: Calamus DTP History in Manuals and CDs

I understand that. Still, for "historical" reasons I feel it is important to preserve software and the related manuals/instructions, as I think they have a great value in order to understand the evolution and progress in ceratin fields. (Being a programmer myself I am amazed at how far we ...
