Re: RGB LCD Monitor : Recommendation 08/09

The colour quality with that multisync -> VGA adapter is excellent... I'd like to see some med-res pics as well for comparison? Yes, I think so and if you take a look at the image "STE-Multisync 4.JPG" you can see the vertical lines/banding I mentioned. They don't really show up in every ...

Anything like this :) . This is the multisync adapter I tested with the LCD TV. Obviously it's seen better days.

Re: RGB LCD Monitor : Recommendation 08/09

Hi Darklord Yes I think your correct. And I'll post a couple more photos. In ST LOW res there's some fuzziness at the edges of characters. In Medium res parts of characters are missing just as shown in the image you posted. Whilst I'm very impressed by the display produced by the Multisync adapter (...

Re: RGB LCD Monitor : Recommendation 08/09

Hi Nativ Is that the cable you refer to? I also have an ST high/low+med > Switchbox > VGA. ---- Ashley I don't know the exact make of the switchbox I have but it definitely isn't a Falcon switchbox. Perhaps I can clarify. I do also have an ST high/low+med switch box and it has two separate round Din...

Re: RGB LCD Monitor : Recommendation 08/09

And finally here's a few using the ST Multisync to VGA adapter. Originally these were made for a specific monitor brand/type I believe - NEC Multisync comes to mind. Quite a nice surprise to find that all these years later they work on this LCD Widescreen TV. Some of the images have come out a bit d...

Re: RGB LCD Monitor : Recommendation 08/09

Hi I think I've found an LCD TV that I can use to replace my colour monitor and at a push also my mono monitor for my STE. Typical Easter weather here in the UK means I've had plenty of time to dig out one of my STEs and hook it up to a Satandisk and and a 17" ONN LCD widescreen TV for testing....

Sounds good Fieryembers would be great to see a PDF of it or the scans online somewhere to access.

Perhaps some kind soul will convert the scans to PDF  Or maybe Meissterfranz will beat you to it? :)

Re: SCSI to PCMCI CF READER NEED!

Hi
The scsi PCMCIA card readers do work with an Atari as stated by LP. I have one & it works well. Mine is an "Accent" scsi card reader made by Adtron it cost me £69 years ago (reduced from £249). It works with Compact flash cards using an adapter.

Re: ST Doctor desk accessory

Try Multidesk Delux --- search the forum for "multidesk" first to see if turns up anything - it loads multiple accessories into one accessory slot & allows them to be loaded from a slected folder. Alternatively the accessory "chameleon" should allow you to do this one accesso...

Re: Gemulator 9 Completed - Now Open Source

I was hoping to continue using my original STEEM drive setups rather than put folders into the root of C: but will give it a go at some point. For Gemulator I use a single folder "Atari" on the "C" to hold the folders for all of my atari programs. Accesorries and auto folder are...

Re: Gemulator 9 Completed - Now Open Source

OK, have done that and set it to C: (annoying that you can't tell it that a particular folder on the PC is "drive C" but I'll keep going as it's been almost 10 years since I last used Gemulator (came with a load of FaST Club CD-ROMs). What format does it expect the TOS files to be in as I...
