Could we decide for one?

Kobold wins my vote.
I even use it to format my floppies. Resultant floppy seems read/write faster then formated on tos/Wintel.

Just a serial connection plus some terminal programs on both side.
On ST, any good terminal proggies with Zmodem.
Wintel comes with hyperterm (Zmodem included).

Gemram & WinX (tos extenders/fixes) - kick some bugs out & add some nice features.
LetemFly (system tools) - flying dialog boxes.
Mouse26 (system tools) - serial mouse in case your original ST mouse goes kaput

You need to remove the power.
When it ask you to power on, you need to set the jumper to normal, then put the power back on.

Don't worry.
Remove everything, and jumper back to normal operations.
Try to see what version it is - should be the newer version.

Re: TT030 & connectivity to the new world

I guess it is time now to take a look at your IDE-SCSI card.
What is the model ? Is it is -E model ?
What is the firmware version?

I read from some old Mac forums that anything below -E is not working too well.

I think it is your SCSI-IDE adapter card. Nothing to do with your DMA/SCSI on the mobo.
I had a bad SCSI-IDE once, so it depends on the seller.

Re: ICD The Link 2 + Acard AEC-7720U...How To Connect Together?

I guess so...are you sure the STFM can handle 4MB? (ONLY JOKING! ). Actually I must try and find a decent STFM so that I can have full game compatibility, along with a 1MB/4MB switch. Oh and a hard drive interface of some sort too. Just need to find some spare money and I am away! 8) I ha...

Re: Atari on a P3 Dual Core

What I read on the web is that ppl gets the netbooks with linux. They then return and want WinXP on them. I seen some friend of mine did just that. In any case, Linux and Win will do as an OS for the netbook. You just need to d/l the correct distribution of Aranym and run on it. I have not tried the...

What is a P3 Dual Core? Pentium 3 does not do dual core. You getting a eeePC ? That's normally an Atom CPU. I was think of getting a eeePC or netbook and using an emulator. But I already using an emulator on my Wintel Dual Core, and Aranym flys there. Looks like an Atari but It's don't feel like an ...

Re: Netusb connecting to PC

Just some pointers. May be you can try to get Mint running with the uMiNT, a new package from MiKro, that I chanced on. It is for the EtherNat but I think the NetUSB is based on the same chipset so it may work. From what I read in the readme, it seems easy to setup. It's just unzip into your drive!!...
