Re: Dead Falcon/CT63 ? I can't believe it !

Thanks for your replies.

I don't know which batch the CT63 belongs. When I got some problems with the one I received on 2006, Rodolphe replaced it with another one.

Dal, how do you reset all RAM ? I tried the CONTROL / ALTERNATE / RIGHT SHIFT / UNDO at boot, with no success.

The CT is well seated.

Hi, Yesterday I discovered an excellent site: http://atari.8bitchip.info/fromhd.php I downloaded some games, tried to run some of them and got error: not enough ram. Strange, It was with my Atari 1040STe/4Mo/TOS 2.06/4GB hd (ACSI-link-SCSI) formatted with hddriver 8.18. What is wrong ? I can't belie...

Re: SOLVED: Atari<>PC serial connection issue

Hi,

I met some problems configuring the null modem link between my TT/MiNT and PC windows XP.
I tried to follow the topic for windows 7 but the configuration is different with XP.

Did anyone manage to have a clean connection between XP and MiNT ? I would like to have the best parameters.

Re: EasyMiNT and Falcon - can run X11?

[OFF TOPIC/ON]

I saw somewhere that there were 2 versions, for example:

- http://www.old-computers.com/museum/com ... st=1&c=245

[OFF TOPIC/OFF]

Is there a special MiNT version for Falcon/CT60 ?

Re: EasyMiNT and Falcon - can run X11?

Excellent tuto wongck !

I followed all the steps thoroughly and I managed to run X11 with my stock TT/030. It is running well. I think a Falcon/CT60 is required to do this.
Funny to see X11 application running on the TT, but is it not the return of the TT/X ?...

Re: MiNT: can't have "/" and tcsh console

I found what was wrong: - I copied the unix root tree before activating FS_VFAT for my ZIP drive, all was uppercase on /d and truncated, the sln lines in mint.cnf were wrong ("sln d:/bin u:/bin" instead of "sln d:/BIN u:/bin"). I removed all and copied correctly unix root directo...

Re: MiNT: can't have "/" and tcsh console

Hi, In MiNT.CNF file when I set: sln d:/bin u:/bin Where d: is efs2, the path is unreachable (file not found). When I transfer all unix tree from d: to c: (TOS filesystem) and set: sln c:/bin u:/bin I can reach u:/bin, I can have the tcsh and the path to /bin is correctly set, I can have all command...

MiNT: can't have "/" and tcsh console

Hi all, I am a noobie with MiNT. I tried to install it on my TT/030 from phsw.110mb.com tuto. The 3 first partitions are TOS/ext2/FAT32. MiNT is booting on the first (TOS, c:) and I tried to have all Unix tree in ext2 partition (d:), I saw it was possible. First, when I double click on d:/bin/tcsh t...

Atari 1040 STe CPU upgrade 8->16MHz

Hi, Is there a simple way to do this (no overclocking)? If I could only change a chip like I did when I upgraded the TOS eprom it would be fine (I am not electronician at all !). I saw MC68000@16MHz chip on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.fr/Motorola-68000-processor-MC68HC000P16-16MHz-/250627348485?pt=CPUs&am...
