Re: ct60e built in, some issues (hard and software)

That generated ct60temp.acc gives me headaches. Is there any way to get rid of it?

Re: ct60e built in, some issues (hard and software)

I guess it has to do with the new MGMt chip Willy used.
No compatability with the old acc file.
The patched ct60conf.cpx seems to work fine, giving me 45° on 66mhz.

Re: Software/OS Patching for CT60

OK thanks! Videlity worked perfectly!
I didn't have any problem using Centscreen before CT60e installation, but Videlity seems to be a very good alternative.

Re: Software/OS Patching for CT60

I never heard anything about patched CentVidel, and before Super Videl came, I have used Videl Inside without any problems for the mode you require. Sure there is. See archive here http://didierm.pagesperso-orange.fr/ct60/index.html and here http://dhs.nu/files.php?t=accelerators Its not working wi...

Has anyone patched CentVidel and made CentScreen successfully work 800x608/256 on Mint?

Re: VanillaMiNT has finally been updated

In other words, for some strange reason, xaaes didnt choose the default mode when video config file is missing... That's strange. Is your NVRAM OK? Is there a newdesk.inf present? Newdesk.inf is there and nvram (standard chip, modded external battery) seems to work since it keep date/time and setti...

Re: VanillaMiNT has finally been updated

Ok. Job done! I had to manually set the video mode in xaaes.cnf. After that system boot to desktop. Then I set the screen using your tool and the video.cnf file created, I put back the include line and now works. In other words, for some strange reason, xaaes didnt choose the default mode when video...

Re: ct60e built in, some issues (hard and software)

About your hardware issue maybe for start you should only use a push button switch to turn it on/off and a jumper to toggle between 030/060.

Re: VanillaMiNT has finally been updated

I have a newly formatted cf card using hdd9.1 driver.
I installed ndvi and then just transferred the VanillaMint files.
I did download the 060 archive.
I haven't changed any cnf/ini file.
No sort: NVDI/WDIALOG/MINT

I don't see any video.cnf file under /mint/

Re: MINT: We don't make this easy do we?

I faced the same issues with EmpireAndrew. wongck has done a great job with his tutorial and his whole webpage has great stuff. It definitely took lot of efford and for sure it gives the idea whats mint about. But at some point it comes to a deadend. It must be something with the kernel versions and...

Re: Heatsink: how to mount it?

All 486/100 and P/90+ I have seen had always a fan on. Judging from all the commets and Willys info I could say anything above 66mhz should have a fan if you want to be on the safe side. Otherwise just a heatsink should be fine. Of course if someone has tried those tests would be nice giving the rea...

Re: CT60e is coming :)

My DA-1 psu seems to be faulty.
So the question is, are 90w enough while going for 100+ mhz (+ addons) or play safe and get a 120w?

For the installation there were some english language files you could replace.

For the desktop I just replaced Thing with Teradesk, but iirc there must be some translation files somewhere.

Re: CT60e is coming :)

I have a Dell DA-1 I am going to use.
Its 12v 12.5a. You can also install a switch, grounding the remote line, which is very helpful.
Its kind of old but i guess its better quality than the cheap ones on the market.
