Potential Monitor for Atari usage? Compaq P110

So I've had this monitor for a very long time (originally had three of them, if I recall, since I had a Matrox Parhelia, and Unreal Tournament was epic on three screens! But they weighed too much and I ended up getting rid of two of them) It's a Compaq P110 which is a 21" CRT (Like I said, heav...

Re: Enhance ST games for the Falcon ?

Not to derail the thread, but what bout Atari 8bit games enhanced for the ST? :) Would kill for a 16bit version of Jumpman. It's funny that I when I really seriously try to think of old games I loved, I'm having a hard time thinking of some on the ST/Amiga, loved my 8-bit. More on topic; I was askin...

Re: PP's 1gb image and 1040STe compatibility. HW issue?

Weird. So Battlechess on TT030 works fine. I upgraded the 1040STe with the TOS 1.62/2.06 switcher from exxos as well as the PSU, still can't get Battlechess to work on either version of TOS for it. I don't think I tried it on the Mega STe, but according to the site, it should work with all of them.

Re: CosmosEX mini?

Ever thought of making an IDE / CosmosEx, so it'd still have floppy/hard drive features, but can fit in either a stock Falcon, or Mega ST/e/TT with an internal IDE mod?

Maybe that's a bit off topic, but the 2.5" IDE connector would certainly fit on a 'mini' right?

Re: CT60e is coming :)

I have a 68060 sitting on my desk sweating in anticipation of being inserted into a shiny new CT60e.... granted, then I'll be waiting for a Super VIDEL to add to it. Then I'll have to sell off my PC that has 32gb of ram, many terabytes of disk space, and a 1080GTX and... oh who am I kidding, I'll ju...

Re: PageStream

Yeah, I had replied back with information about the Firebee and FreeMiNT and asking if those wer the limitations. Granted there is also the limitatuon of TOS pre-TT of only being able to have 4mb of RAM without hacks, and even then it is 10mb without a cpu upgrade if I recall. So if the newer versio...

PageStream 2.2 was one of my favorite Apps for the STacy. I even purchased a later version for Mac OS. Sadly on MacOS the clean and efficient program was now obtuse and no longer intuitive. I lost interest quickly. From playing around with the Linux version, it seemed the same. Was going to test it...

Re: What model should I go for?

Personally I'd go for the STe. Reasons being that A) those few that are enhanced (and are being enhanced, see Giana Sisters, Pacmania, etc) B) it has the enhanced joystick ports for a Jaguar controller for those games that support it. C) it's really easy to upgrade it to 4mb of ram. I just built and...

Re: Replacement Power Supply and Floppy Drive

Having just barely completed the PSU upgrade on my 1040STe, I've got to say that exxos's work is top notch. It's working like a champ. Though his site says that you can't fit the shielding back on, but mine managed to fit and all is working. I also ordered the Fast TOS from him, and that's working g...

Re: FS:Atari Mega STE 4Mb, TOS 2.05

Such a wonderful machine, was my first ST, which sadly has since perished (well, I get a white screen, and I know it wasn't the TOS because I transplanted them to one that had 2.05 and it works fine). One day I'll try to repair that, but then I'll need a second keyboard to have two full Mega STes. H...

Re: Atari 8 bit emulator for the ST

That's about the results I recall, back when I tried it out on my Mega STe. Granted thinking back on it, I can't remember how the hell I got any of the software over to the ST, but I remember trying it at some point. This is something that I think could have helped with the ST / Amiga, if they'd had...

Re: Vote for new feature(s) of CosmosEx!

Can it make me breakfast? :P I voted for floppy write support. Most of the other things would be awesome, but I have other computers for most of them. Though I'd really like better printer support, I think that should probably be a generic thing, and not specific to CosmosEx (I still need to set min...

This would rock, I think the A1200 cars also have the potential for the remade A1200 boards that are being worked on (http://wiki.icomp.de/wiki/Amiga_reloaded). Not sure if we could get some of the really advanced Atari hardware hackers together and build new Falcon motherboards? Here you have a ch...

So, my brother and I were talking about some great games and Star Control came up. Then I remembered the Urquan Masters project. I would be happy with a list that had some updated links. Is it editable by anyone? They still have Tera Desk 4.04 shown, when 4.07 is now out.

But yeah, I could see things like Videlity being added. Hell, I could go for a FreeMiNT Essentials list as well.

Never mind, I'm an idiot.

For future reference for anyone who runs into the same issue;

Under HD Driver, it's Settings -> Devices and Partitions

Or there is the Auto configuring option.

I should still track down some batteries though..

UltraSatan and TT030?

I have been ducking the hell out of the internet, and can't seem to find the answer to this. Is there a way to disable the internal SCSI and boot off an UltraSatan on the TT030?

I only see the base dip switches where you can change dma audio and enable 1.44mb floppy.

Is there anyway to do this?
