Re: New feature: YPbPr/RGsB output

I just ordered one of these; https://www.amazon.com/Monoprice-Component-Video-Cable-HD15/dp/B001VRQIIY/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1484263324&sr=8-7&keywords=vga+component+cable I'll report back after I get it to let everyone know how it works. Now the question is... where's the upgraded Atar...

Re: Wish we could get this...

This would rock, I think the A1200 cars also have the potential for the remade A1200 boards that are being worked on (http://wiki.icomp.de/wiki/Amiga_reloaded). Not sure if we could get some of the really advanced Atari hardware hackers together and build new Falcon motherboards? Here you have a ch...

Urquan Masters port?

So, my brother and I were talking about some great games and Star Control came up. Then I remembered the Urquan Masters project. The source is open, and you just need the assets, either from the dos version, or the 3do version has fmv in it. Would this be possible to port to ST/STe/TT/Falcon? I woul...

Re: Falcon Essential Software

I would be happy with a list that had some updated links. Is it editable by anyone? They still have Tera Desk 4.04 shown, when 4.07 is now out.

But yeah, I could see things like Videlity being added. Hell, I could go for a FreeMiNT Essentials list as well.

Re: UltraSatan and TT030?

Never mind, I'm an idiot.

For future reference for anyone who runs into the same issue;

Under HD Driver, it's Settings -> Devices and Partitions

Or there is the Auto configuring option.

I should still track down some batteries though..

I'm guessing to be able to save such settings, I'm going to need to replace my battery. At least with the TT030 and MegaSTe, they should be easy, unlike the Falcon...

UltraSatan and TT030?

I have been ducking the hell out of the internet, and can't seem to find the answer to this. Is there a way to disable the internal SCSI and boot off an UltraSatan on the TT030?

I only see the base dip switches where you can change dma audio and enable 1.44mb floppy.

Is there anyway to do this?

Re: Atari Corps multi-line BBS?

Was that Neil Patrick Harris? That man gets everywhere... Even that linked article is pretty awesome, I had no idea Atari ran their own multi-line BBS back then. Granted the Atari computers were never ones where you needed external support for much, they just sort of worked, unless the hardware itse...

Re: Atari Works and PageStream on Falcon with Mint/XaAes?

Cool, thanks for the info. It's been a long time since I had ran any of this stuff, and I never had NVDI or gdos setup ball in the day, since Pagestream doesn't really use them, and I mostly only started playing with more advanced stuff shortly before the hard drive in my Mega STe died back in the d...

PP's 1gb image and 1040STe compatibility. HW issue?

So got a 1040STe (mainly to try to fill out the compatibility range, though I still don't have just a 'normal' ST that works). I downloaded the image from http://atari.8bitchip.info/DiskImgPP1.html and stuck it on a 2gb SD card, and into the UltraSatan. But it seems the games are very hit and miss w...

Re: PageStream

I emailed them recently and got the same response pretty much. That there wasn't enough interest, and there were limitations in TOS.

Mainly because the conversation came up because I couldn't seem to get Pagestream to work on my Falcon.

Re: Atari Works and PageStream on Falcon with Mint/XaAes?

Atari Works is definitely happier with just NVDI. So, out of curiosity, if NVDI provides GDOS 4.1 (which is what the SpeedoGDOS start up said was already loaded) is that an API version thing and maybe SpeedoGDOS 5.0 has newer features / bug fixes? Or is that really just irrelevant and I'm just askin...

Re: CT60e is coming :)

Awesome Willy. For me, I'm in no real hurry. I still need to source an '060 for it and a PicoPSU. Though I do need to re-configure my Falcon as well, since I think I horked something in MiNT, but that's for another discussion. Just looking forward to pitting the Falcon against the A4000D!

Re: CT60e is coming :)

Pretty sure there was a post recently that said it was really close now, but I am in no real rush, I have a 1040STe I have to hack anyhow. I would rather the CT60e be done right than to have weird glitches later.

That is exactly what I was thinking, but you know, in a coherent way! I wonder how many STe/Falcon owners would want such a thing?

Re: Enhanced port to db9 mod/program?

Yeah, what I'm thinking is something that goes between the connector on the motherboard to the keyboard, which has both the joystick ports and the keyboard as part of it. The IKBD injector I believe it is usually referred to as. If we could utilize something like that which then went to the extended...

Re: Enhanced port to db9 mod/program?

So you couldn't get something wired up that would press (for example) 'space' when you press 'b' on the jaguar pad? I mean clearly it wouldn't be just a simple wire, but more of something that would need to be programmable. I'm not thinking of something to send to the keyboard, more like a middle-ma...

Re: Enhanced port to db9 mod/program?

Yeah, using a jag pad in place of the joystick with access to only one button wouldn't be hard at all, but then again using Sega master system gamepads would be acceptable in this case, and they're probably easier to get than Jag Pads. I still find it odd that the Amiga wired their ports up so that ...

Maybe a hardware mod that could be tweaked via software? Then again, I guess I have a NetUSBee, which would be nice to use USB game pads on as well.

Enhanced port to db9 mod/program?

I am just wondering, and I somehow think this has been discussed before, but is there a project out there to get the mapping of the mouse/joystick ports to the enhanced ports on the STe (non-Mega) and Falcon? I ask for several reasons. 1) those games that end up using a key in the keyboard for somet...
