Re: Dunno if anyone has been watching this one...

Nerdy Girls are nearly as rare and expensive as Falcon's fitted with CT63 and CTPCI! Not as true as you'd think.. I went to a comic and sci-fi convention a few weeks back and there were plenty of them there. (I couldn't get 'that' into it though - although it was an enjoyable event.. I hate t...

Atari-Forum.Com Site Header Tabulation Issue

The line 'their clones' from the phrase "Atari-Forum A forum about Atari 16/32 computers and their clones." is currently underneath the Atari-Forum logo on the site header graphic.

Great review! Loved that game so much. Funny I never thought to do as you say here, load up and explore! I did often destroy targets, airfields etc., well in advance of any missions. Last time I spoke to Aaron he said SkyStrike + often came up in their own discussions along the lines of "we sh...

Re: Recent Disappearance of Atari-Forum...

I spent the evening with a bottle of red wine and manually put the site back together by hand. The databases were too large to upload in one chunk so had to form separate SQL files to roll the data back in place. "Ah la tienne Dareen !" Hips ! Many thanks guys ! I'm spending the evening w...

Had a quick go on it recently.. Funny to think that it's an accident with a Large Hadron Collider that sends him there in the first place.. 8O

And there are 'save points' - those 4-letter codes it displays when you get killed.

I think I'll keep it sealed for now.

If it's that much of a dilemma, why not keep the box sealed and play it on an emulator?

I only pop in here occasionally myself these days (only just seen this thread), but just wanted to say commisserations for the situation and (although it's trite and you don't want to hear it right now) sounds like it was bound to happen in the end given this person's personality and you can put it ...

Can get them at Staples over here in Canada - I got a box recently but didn't end up needing them. I think it was about $12.50 for a 25-pack.

Re: Great games to bring to a convention?

Put 'Vroom!' out there - that was always a good one. And 'Stunt Car Racer'.

'Carrier Command' is still the best game of all time, but not a short-term blast sort of thing.

And for demos - The ULM Megademo is still pretty damn good.
