DEXtrous

I digged out some informations about "DEXtrous" lately, a complete GEM replacement for the Falcon, developped by Black Scorpion Software in 1994. My question is: did it ever existed? I saw a screenshot on ST Format issue 62, page 12, and I wonder if it was just a mock-up screen or if there was maybe...

take care!

hello, just wanted to point out that the 3,5" HD in the original case obviously can damage the motherboard... in fact my old falcon burned away that way, i had built in a 3,5" seagate hd and I have to admit that the case couldn´t completely closed anymore with this HD or if you closed it, the case ...

what a boring party :)

you want to play party games?! man... take "sexgames" ... he, and be sure to have enough joysticks at home, i know it isn´t a game for 2 or more players at once, but a game that is always good fun on a party... so why do you need enough joysticks? in the heat of the battle they may break :) another...

not to forget

maybe my view on the things is that way because i am a little listing fanatic, that means i would like to have all cracktros leechable as stand alone and not as big zipfile like on the world of cracktros site... and screenshots and further informations should be yummy too...

hi kephy... nice idea indeed but a horror of a job to collect and file all that stuff, if you not count the crack menu intros there should be still x-hundreds if not one thousand intros around... example, i for myself wanted to list all the contents of the menu disx i collected over the years and......

this project misses something important

without being too negative... without DSP emulation (and this is surely the breakpoint at emulating the falcon at all) it´s going to be nearly useless as about 95 % of the demos and at least 75 % of the games using the DSP, as well as specialized Falcon tools (to remember to the trackers and severa...

sh3, i wrote, don´t get me wrong... but as always people like to read one sentence to turn mad and don´t like it to think... but who cares anyway... i just liked to express my thought about a falcon emulation as it seems an emulation is seen as the saver of the scene or comunity what else in here....

what scene do you mean?

just wanted to say that an emulation doesn´t helps the scene, esp. the demoscene, this is the scene earx surely is speaking of... just for example, STEEM didn´t brought us that many new coders and I don´t remember one big demo in the last years that was written on emulation instead of the real ma...
