Re: FS: Atari STe+AdSpeed STe & SM124

thanks for the reply nativ... i was just about to skip the machine and just ebay the adspeed so with that in mind, and considering the case of the STe is not in great condition, there's no shielding and the top case isn't screwed down. but it does have a high density disk drive ready for a HD disk c...

Crazy Dots II Questions

sorry more questions... for many many years i've had a crazy dots 2 card running in my tt, using the nvdi et-4000 drivers. I cant remember what version they are at the moment but would be circa 1994 vintage. are there any better/newer drivers i can use? With my current setup you have to generate the...

Re: TT030 & connectivity to the new world

thanks lp sounds similar to what i'm thinking of... has anyone actually tried SCSI -> IDE -> Compact Flash on a TT? has anyone tried or knows of the adaptor card on ebay i posted up earlier? one thing i need to do is convert over to HDDRIVER as i'm using ICD drivers at the moment and IIRC it's not D...

Re: FS: Atari STe+AdSpeed STe & SM124

@Mug UK: Wilmslow or Macclesfield depending if i'm at work or home. @Shredder11: yea, i read that the other day, no mention of what it might be worth though. The rest of the info i allready know, i bought and installed it in '92 and used to use it for pov-ray as it was quieter than having the TT run...

Re: TT030 & connectivity to the new world

thanks bj, i think a flash/solid state based system would work best for me, i dont want the clutter/hassle of supporting old tech on the pc. So thinking about it SD/MMC or CF card would be preferable. just looking at this along with a ide/cf adaptor to replace my internal hdd with a compact flash: h...

thanks everyone for the help... Using your scsi drive directly in the pc may not work as the hard drive needs to have been formatted using DOS compatible FAT16 format. If it is DOS FAT16 already as you open an atari hard drive on a pc, windows wites a recycle bin file on it and also folder.ini and t...
