Re: Atari st series computers conversion PC

*Out of curiosity! Can the Teensy now do Amiga keyboards? The Arduino Leonardo sketch works great for A500 keyboards, but the fact it will only work once the o/s starts loading puts me off a bit! That sounds weird. There is no reason why it shouldn't behave as a proper USB HID keyboard. The A500 ke...

Re: Atari st series computers conversion PC

I have been absent from here for quite some time! Quite a few things have happend here! Lost my Dad to Cancer in May. Took on refurbing some Amiga 1200's that took over everything (SCSI stuff drove me crazy lol), some projects got shelved etc. But I have now ordered a Teensy ++ 2.0 board (for the ST...

Re: Creating images from my old ST disks

Fell foul of this a few times myself!

Spiny is right, if that hole is filled with tiny plastic plug you can pick it out. If your luck is out then get a sewing needle, heat it up and melt a new hole :)

Re: UltraSatan for sale on ebay

What is the most annoying! The postage was combined, I bought two items. An HxC and the Ultrasatan (Cased). The HxC turned up very quickly. The Ultrasatan has yet to appear. Just getting fed up with my stuff going walkies and it is almost impossible to proove it! But with a Courier you can at least ...

They keep loosing my stuff, address is always correct and I have even been forced to add extra details so there is no way they can loose it. Very annoying

Re: Teensy & Atari St Keyboard questions (PC Bios related)

I just need to source a Teensy now... Sent Joska a pm earlier. I can order one direct but its taking the chance with our customs holding me to ransom on it... Also I asked about accessing the bios because I recently used an Arduino Leonardo for an Amiga 500 keyboard hack, it works great but I cannot...

Teensy & Atari St Keyboard questions (PC Bios related)

I need to know some basic stuff about using the Teensy with an Atari ST keyboard on a pc.

1. Does it allow low-level access to the bios on a pc motherboard by pressing the Delete key when the pc is powered up?

Thanx :)

Re: Atari st series computers conversion PC

How does the teensy react when alot of fast typing is done on the atari keyboard? Can it be bogged down and then catch up printing the characters? or does it react instantly with no problems?

Re: Atari st series computers conversion PC

Confirmed - The A500 has a controller built into the keyboard (circuit board I mentioned)

http://www.amiga-hardware.com/showhardw ... HARDID=651

If this one could be cracked then one of little teensy boards setup for many different keyboards that allow it! Would be great :D

Re: Atari st series computers conversion PC

Im really stuck now... I will have to stick with the keyrah, its a pita! I always assumed the a500...

Good regarding it would work but the firmware, I m guessing it is totally geared for the atari controller only?

How difficult will it be to adapt the firmware?

Re: Atari st series computers conversion PC

Could somebody please confirm if an Amiga 500 keyboard could be made to work on the Teensy? Im tearing my hair out trying to shove a Keyrah into an a500 case. I won this item. Really impressed with the condition, whoever owned this kit looked after it! I have just imaged the disk and will test it in steem, it should be ok with no errors. Is there anything I can do? scan the manual, inlay card and cartridge? I will probably stop at trying to open the cart ...

Re: DIY: Retro fitting a PicoPSU into a STf/fm/e machine

Hmmm I have an old pico psu floating about that would be ideal for this! I have an STE here that has decided that powering a 5volt external disk drive is just too much. Its nothing a decent wall-wart adaptor wouldnt solve but when space and sockets are a problem, tapping power from anywhere availabl...

Sounds like a good plan! My only little nag is I would want a picture of something like this fitted to a motherboard as close to mine as possible. I have found an old thread on here about an st in a rackmount case but not enougth of the board is shown. Seems nit picky but im slightly un-confident wi...

Re: 520 STFM Rev 1.1 - C103414-001 Memory upgrade.

:( this old stfm will not support Exxos ram board, ram is surface mounted and is arranged different. So im thinking would it be possible to take an old 30pin simm with 256k of ram on it, hopefully by matching the correct number of chips and their speed etc. Then getting those chips off and then onto...

I dont want to get rid of the board or have to buy another one tbh!

Hmmm im wondering if its possible to hack in a 256k 30pin simm that I have lying about?
