Napoleonics was a compilation of the 3 Peter Turcan games : Austerlitz, Borodino and Waterloo. I'm sure all of those were available individually on menus. Ah, then if that's the case, I'm confusing it with the part-computer, part-board game that was based around the Napoleonic war that I have got.....

Not found it since 2014, so it's either been lost or it's still in some boxes that haven't been unpacked in the last 4 years. That's the downside of having eaves under the roof, they're very good at storing stuff that you want to keep, but also don't want to find :)

Try the Naughty Unpacker as (from memory) that can handle PFX Packer. Or New Depack.

It's for use on Windows and I can use the Java applet in the same way as I do my Kyroflux app. Nice and simple.

Linux is still something I need to learn, especially for the new job. Managed to happily avoid it until now :)

Had a quick play with this yesterday on both ST & C64 disk images. How easy would it be to make it a stand-alone util (I assume using Java) so it would run locally?

By the 'green screen' you mean the GEM desktop? If so, I've redone you a version of Disk 1 whereby the main .PRG file has been placed inside an AUTO folder. You will still need the second disk to play the game though.

The Klaz version should have worked OK as he was adept at making sure games were tested on a multitude of systems before he released his hacked versions. Very odd that it didn't work for you though.

Glad it worked out in the end though.

Unless someone has hacked the header signature, then up to v2.51, it was "LSD!". For the version of the Automation packer after that it was a front-end hack for the Ice Packer v2.4 (I think, it's been a long time). So you can depack it with the Ice depack code *but* the header is "AU5...

OK, will let you off on the 2nd part. However, to upload images, you *do not* need to rename them to .ZIP file extension. Just leave them with their .JPG file extension and they will appear in the post. You can use the Place Inline option to line up the images wherever you want in your post. If you ...

What you have uploaded aren't .ZIP files (as in they are compressed archives containing one, or multiple files) but two JPG pictures that you've changed the extension to .ZIP.

Why are you uploading this kind of junk to a forum which is 99% specifically about the Atari ST/Falcon and their clones?
