plus no 68030 or MMU in standard form so the ST core should be (arguable) simpler than the Amiga one...

I must be missing something but how come MiSTer (mini MIST) does not run ST... Wasnt MIST first made for ST then Amiga?

8bitGuy did a video and he soaked them in peroxide solution on cooker at 160F... I wondered about that as a method

Actually I think I will build a box with GBS8220 for scandoubling. Since it can pass thru a VGA signal I just need to work out how to wire a switch in a cable to switch the STE from Hi to Lo/Med and what wires I need to connect!!

Thanks for such a helpful reply (and not treating me like a total idiot!) I looked into the adjustments on my monitor/TV and could make adjustment which make the bands wider or narrower but not enough to make it go away... Probably need a different monitor then.... EDIT: Tried my 40" TV and the...
