Anyone got a working ST Format 21 coverdisk?

Hi all, I'm after the ST Format issue 21 coverdisk, but a working copy. I've download various versions from the web, but they all seem to be corrupt in some way. For example the PI1s in the SIDE_2 folder are corrupted when viewed, and the Animation Master program on side 1 just dies with 4 bombs, an...

Re: Dal's Atari Magazine Trading Thread

Just to say that Atari ST User Volume 1 was published as a pull-out section in Atari User magazine. So if you get those, you'll get ST User too. It started in the March 1986 issue and remained as a pull-out until March 1987. Volume 2, Issue 2 (April 1987) was the first one published on its own. For ...

Re: Dal's Atari Magazine Trading Thread

Hmm I have most of those on your 'missing' list. However I also have virtually everything on the swap list too. I'm missing these: Atari ST User issue 80 (October 1992) and issue 98 (March 1994). Do you have those? If so I may be willing to swap several issues of others on your list in exchange for ...

Re: ST Article in this month's Retro Gamer

The reader-picked games was ok, it was the 30th Anniversary article that was a bit pants.

Re: ST Article in this month's Retro Gamer

I have to confess I thought it was a terrible article. Random choice of games and nothing new or insightful in the content at all. A real wasted opportunity.

Nice work :)

If you are missing any issues (of any ST related magazine!) then let me know. I collect them and have literally thousands of issues.

What type of scanner do you use? Is it A3?

Re: Collected 3500 ST disks today

Nice. I checked a load of them (about 20 different disks) between 600 and 864 and none of the disk numbers were wrong - so I'm not sure you did mess it up.

Re: Collected 3500 ST disks today

I'm just copying the actual files out, no disk format. Some of the disks are using some crazy extended formats, but thankfully my Falcon doesn't seem to mind too much.

Re: Collected 3500 ST disks today

Somewhat inspired by this again I've imaged half of my Falcon collection. Have been imaging my Falcon Owners Group PD Library disks and then will move on to my personal Falcon disks (those that Phil doesn't have any way). Will upload them all when finished - at least bandwidth is much faster now tha...

Is it worth me uploading the original 700 or so I imaged years ago, or does everyone have them now?

Re: Collected 3500 ST disks today

Just for the record, I gave Phil far more than just the original load of disks that started off this thread. I also handed over pretty much my entire personal collection I had built up over the years. Things like nearly complete images of The Demo Club PD Library, stacks of swapping / trade disks an...

Real names of Lap/Crawdaddy

Hiya,

Does anyone know the real names of the musicians Lap (Next) and Crawdaddy (Chronicle) ?

If you know how to get in touch with them then even better :)

Cheers,

Rich

Re: Please send me your YM music files!

Hey guys, From various sources I've now got a massive collection of YM files :) Replay quality is really good so far, and hundreds of classic tunes depack and play without issue. We need to get digi drum support working properly, but after that it will be released on my site (just as we released the...

Thanks Mug, have got all of those now. Good collection. I wonder if it's better than the Brainbug one was? (I still can't believe I didn't archive that site when I had the chance!)

Please send me your YM music files!

I know this is a bit of a strange request (given the dominance of the SNDH format), but I really need your YM files! So if you happen to have an archive of Brainbug YM Archive before it vanished, I would much appreciate it. The reason is that I'm helping out someone who has written a YM replay class...
