Re: Source code of Atari ST intro "Oh No! More Dots" available

Nice one :) I also like the other code in the repo and the "load and depack" routine sounds useful. Thanks! The 68K for the multi-depacker was coded by STGhost and I don't know if it was spread at the time. I used it very often. Too bad the comments are in French but the code is understan...

Hi there, The source code of the "Oh No! More Dots" intro released at Very Important Party 2018 by MJJ Prod is now online. It includes the dot routine by Gloky - good luck to understand his code  So, in case you're interested, you can grab it here: https://github.com/stephane-pere...

I agree with you. Too few games for such a great machine.

And concerning Racer 2, maybe because Cho Ren Sha is more eye-catching for young people ;-)

Re: Cho Ren Sha 68k for the Atari Falcon030

@Anima Last weekend I participated in a retrogaming meeting in France called Retro Game Alpes 2017. I brought my Falcon, I already did it 2 years ago (and I posted a message here ). This time I showed the beta release of Cho Ren Sha with speed improvement due to DSP routines. Cho Ren Sha was the mos...

A Xenon clone as a menu? Maybe NTM Megademo? Or Vodka demo by Equinox (but only 1 disk).

Re: "We Were @" hardware demo survey

Great work for this amazing STE demo! It works like a charm on my 4 MB STE, with disk images loaded from HxC Floppy or CosmosEx. There are some problems with the 16 first pixels in the left border though, for example in the "Try to beat dis(tortion)" screen (however you mentioned this poin...

Re: Floppy Emulation issues

Strider, Hitting "A" during a soft reset works fine to boot on a menu disk. But : - It loads HDDRIVER ( why? perhaps it's normal as i am not very used to use HD on STs ) - If i unplug the ACSI cable and soft reset, it just doesn't AUTOBOOT on A: ( why? ) By booting this way i had much mor...

Hey Mr Nours :)

If you use HD Driver as a disk drive, just press on "A" after a reset to boot from floppy disk.

That's quite a lot of work. As I have another Raspberry, I'm going to use it with a NFS share instead. Thanks for the answer though

Re: Python on Raspberry?

Thanks for your reply Jookie, on the other hand I don't want to give you extra work because you surely have a lot of work
Instead, I wonder if it is possible to install CosmosEx software on a more popular Linux distribution such as Raspbian?

Python on Raspberry?

Hello,

Could anyone tell me what is the Linux distribution in the CosmosEx?
Is it possible to install Python?
I'd like to run some Python scripts on the Raspberry and interact with the ST.

Re: Cho Ren Sha 68k for the Atari Falcon030

I compared this version with the previous one and that's quite impressive. The first version was horribly slow, the new one seems to drop frames to speed up things. The game is faster... and obviously harder: the two bosses of the first level are incredibly fast, it's a bit surprising after playing ...

I've checked my copy: the file UTILS.TOS does not unpack. When I run it, it goes back to desktop after loading, without error message.
My floppy disk has no physical error though.
Did you try to open this file with STZIP ?
