What's the web service that your application consumes? Are there alternatives out there?

Re: What Happened To the Atari Hardware

In 1994/5 Silica Systems had about 30 (1 MB RAM/0MB HD) Falcons which Compo UK bought from them.
I remember Neal O'Nions coming back with a big smile on his face after doing the deal and they turned up later that week. One eventually became mine :)

Ah, looks like HiSOFT released COBOL in the UK. I've emailed them asking if they would follow Gribnif's lead and release their copyrighted software as Donationware.

The admins of Demozoo and Pouet are being rediculous in this matter. They have taken and published work that the author has put in the public domain. This does IMO grant websites, publications the right to comment, link and discuss the titles. Hosting the files is not reasonable when the author main...

Thanks MrFish! Hope it went to a nice home.

Nice, not sure if it's frowned upon but not everyone has a LinkedIn account, so here's the PDF:

This is a great video on the art of speed running in Doom. Clearly aimed at the PC but I'm wondering what speed can be achieved on Atari? :-) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PwngnOCWIZo A part spoiler here...the video shows the first level (Hangar) and basically running through the level to complete...

I was thinking of adding the Errata details into the main part of the book, so the content is fully updated with errors noticed after the book and CD were sold. http://www.yardley.cc/atari/compendium/atari-compendium-errata.htm Not sure if that has been done somewhere else before? Nice link mikro, h...

Atari Compendium

There are a number of resources dotted around for the Atari Compendium. I've hosted an HTML version I found on a malware site and cleaned it up, some 12 years ago. Tonight I've spent some time and edited the HTML to make it a little more readable. Old URLs should still work but this one is the main ...
