Re: e.p.s.s. and cubase arrangment or midi

Hmmm... It should work on STEEM? Or is it the "Installation of EPSS was NOT successful" error a common knowledge? Ah well. PS: Guys, don't listen digi from STEEM as it never works properly (except from AY) - the sound itself must be OK on the real hardware. Still, I will have to pull out m...

Re: Bank switching in Cubase 2?

The simple method is to hit record in cubase and switch to the sound you want. The bank switch command along with the patch change will be captured in the midi track. Hmmmmm. Yes but it's only when the synth actually transmits the data about bank-changing through MIDI. For example earlier machine -...

Re: How much RAM in your Atari ST?

I think I have 4Mb in everything I use. - 520ST - 520STFM - 1040 STE. I have 14Mb in Falcon, true - but I had 4Mb there for years. Also, I do have only 1Mb 1040 STF but it's rather kinda piece of antiquity / museum exhibit at my home, as I don't actually use it but I will never get rid of this, as i...

Re: New EP music-album entirely on the Raspberry Pi :)

Hi, The system for me is always Raspbian, as I'm not good with Linux, so the Raspbian is rather comfortable version for "Windows XP people" like me. ;) As for the utilities, if You don't mind I will use fragment from another forum - I use the MilkyTracker editor with the RPi2 computer (and...

Oh, thx a lot. I do my best. :) PS: Interestingly enough, You can actually find on the site a song made entirely on ACE Tracker. :) The first song of this: https://yerzmyey.bandcamp.com/album/strange-light-under-my-bed But in this case I treated the combo "ACE+F030" as a professional synth...

Re: Bank switching in Cubase 2?

Thanks guys, it worked finally. Also, there appeared the SysEx was set "ON", in the toy-keyz. Another thing is, I'm not very good in the MIDI, so I had to figure out by myself, that first one has to enter SysEx, and then - ProgramChange. Ah well. It's not like the effort is with it, it wil...

Re: Bank switching in Cubase 2?

Hi guys. Not to make another thread - I have a similar problem. I didn't have to use those before but now I have a CASIO CT-670 keyz and it's instruments are based on banks. Grrrrrrrrrrr....... So I cannot access anything above 99 (!!!) as the machine wants to change bank supposedly. I found an inst...

Yes, it was really cool and spooky. ;)

Sadly for now we have only very raw material video (like this :) https://youtu.be/07tLnLw10ww ) but later we expect to have some well-done final mix audio/video.

ZX and Atari ST chiptunes at gamedev conference in Slovakia :->

Last weekend (30-09-2017) we played a chiptune concert for the visitors of gamedev conference of Slovak University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava. Quite a nice event. Mostly we played ZX Spectrum micromusic (YM/AY) but also Atari ST stuff (the same chip) and Pinokio added something form his AT...

Hey, thanks guys. As for the XL/XE tracker, it's the NeoTracker 1.7. Here is the installation file of it: http://yerzmyey.i-demo.pl/NEO17INS.COM To obtain samples, You can actually prepare Yourself a MOD file with samples on PC and then load the MOD into Neotracker. RAM is required obviously, so 1Mb...

YERZMYEY - "DEATH SQUAD" (ZX, Atari, Amiga, NES, SID)

Hey guys, just a small info. A little bit of some new chiptune/micromusic squeaking and creaking on various oldschool machines from 80s and 90s. That includes ATARI 520ST and ATARI 800XL. As usual, it's some reasonably new stuff, which means it's collected from last two years of my activity. _______...

Actually ATARI STE can play them easily, in 50khz.
The ST can too, but with audibly lower quality, You know.

Well, sadly You'd have to make Your own research. But here are some sites that come to mind.
