Re: Bad Mood : Falcon030 'Doom'

Not sure if anyone has tried HW MIDI since I built v0.37 so I'll try to test it next chance I get with the Falcon set up - in case something is wrong there. It did work ok in v0.36. Meanwhile if anyone else has success with it I'd like to know. Thanks Doug. I am attending an Atari Party this weeken...

Re: Bad Mood : Falcon030 'Doom'

I am having issues getting midi music working on my MT32. I have set the mid_replay_mode to 2. midi_device_type to 0 (also tried 1). midi_channel to 2 (the MT-32 default).

During the boot up sequence the MT-32 flashes but no audio is played.

Any suggestions?

I'd be interested in the SH204 if you decide to break things up.

Re: eBay Falcon Holey Crud $2K

That is insane, even for USA Falcons. I see them usually sell for $500-$1000. I enjoy my Falcon quite a bit, but if someone offered me $2K I might just .... :)

Well, probably not. But gee that is a lot of money for a 23 year old computer.

Tom Hudson's Spider Patrol

Does anyone know where to download Tom Hudson's Spider Patrol? I just stumbled onto a video of it on YouTube and would love to run this on native hardware.

Re: Incompatibility on TT and Falcon with ST, STE SW

I'm sorry if I posted this in the wrong thread. The incompatibility topic heading is what lead me down that path. I hope you didn't think I was being critical. I really do appreciate all of your efforts and have allowed me to execute many of my ST games properly on my Falcon. I just wondered if ther...

Re: Incompatibility on TT and Falcon with ST, STE SW

I really appreciate all of the work you do on game conversions! I'm amazed at the sheer volume of what you have accomplished. That being said, I've always wondered the difference between your conversions and those done by KLAZ. All of the conversions I have from KLAZ don't have issues with low ram a...

VCF East X

Hi all. Just back from VCF East X and I had a great time. I was the only booth with ST related stuff, but there were a couple of other Atari 8-bit booths. I met lots of great people and answered many questions about my Falcon030. If you were at the show thanks so much for stopping by! -Pete vcf.jpg

Re: NetUSBee Problem

I got it all sorted out. I cleaned the contacts on the Falcon's cartridge port and now everything works as advertised.

Not the quickest of ethernet transfers, under TOS anyway, but its faster than serial and sure is more convenient.

Re: NetUSBee Problem

I too can assign an IP. I set the route.tab at: 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 EtherNet 192.168.1.1 8.8.8.8, 192.168.1.1 set in Default.CFG's name server. I can ping my local machine, and that seems fine with both 127.0.0.1 and the IP I assigned 192.168.1.86. However, If I try to ping the router or any other machi...

I played Turbo Outrun on my Falcon recently. I was surprised that it just worked without any voodoo.

Frame rate was decent. I'll need to try it on the Mega to compare.

Re: How many ST game collectors here, and why did you start?

I bought a 520ST in 1986. It was the early model that came with an external SF354 Single Sided Drive. I soon bought a SF314 for more storage. Sadly this unit died a few years back. I think I had to do the ST drop one too many times. I kept the keyboard and the top case for old time sakes. I have the...

Wanted STE - North America

Anyone in the US or Canada selling an STE? I sold mine years ago and my bog standard 1040ST is getting a bit flaky lately.

Thanks,

Fletch
