Re: Boot manager question !

Geneva can do this I think.
And it can also "chain" programs to load in a given sequence one after the other - each new one opening after the previous one is closed.
A cool feature.

Re: Geneva and NeoDesk 4 Released as Donationware

RE Geneva Master Disk B & Steem "I was able to open it in Steem SSE 3.8.2 Thanks that was very helpful. I was able to open the disk in Steem 3.8.1 so I installed Geneva on to a Gemdos drive under that emulator and also created a floppy disk under Steem & copied the files from disk B ont...

Re: Geneva and NeoDesk 4 Released as Donationware

I tried to install Geneva on Steem 3.9.4 but it reports "Geneva Disk B - Extras" is in an unrecognised format. Disk A is recognised. Downloaded Disk B again in case it had been corrupted -- same result Steem can't recognise it or open it. I don't have Hatari installed yet. Can anyone confi...

Re: PH PDF Maker beta 3

Hi Wongk So I tried it on Tos 2.06 using Gemulator with 14MB memory as before. The good news - Speadsheet numerical data now sits in it's appropriate cell when printed to PDF from Works for spreadsheets up to 2 pages in size -- Great! However attempts to print out more than 2 pages result in a PDF f...

Re: PH PDF Maker beta 3

Any luck with the fix / update?
Looking forward to trying it out. Have to say I have no idea how much work was involved in getting pdf print out to work from Gdos aware progs.
Seems like a massive step forward to me -- and thanks for your efforts.

Re: PH PDF Maker beta 3

Hi wongck Thanks for reply. I think I almost understood it. I have no programming experience. But I think this may mean that there is a solution possible by making a change within PH PDF Maker? For some reason text contents are printed within the relevant cells but numeric values aren't. I guess in ...

Can't wait to try it out. Thanks

Re: A couple abandonware apps

Thanks to you Nagual & Name of the Game for sharing some great programs. Obviously they are more likely to be preserved & used when more of us have them. The original authors also I hope will feel that there work is being appreciated when Atari enthusiasts seek out their programs for preserv...

Re: PH PDF Maker beta 3

Hi thanks for your reply. Yes making cell size smaller & smaller font will allow printing of more columns. Has anyone tried printing a PDF from Atari Works spreadsheet on real hardware or other emulator? Perhaps emulation introduces errors? Has anyone tried printing a PDF from any other GDOS awa...

Re: PH PDF Maker beta 3

Hi Wongck thanks for reply. PDF publication of a spreadsheet from Atari Works almost works but not quite. I've attached 2 files of the out put from my system to illustrate. Spread1.pdf shows what's produced from a normal spreadsheet. All of the cells are printed out but their numerical values are pr...

Re: A couple abandonware apps

Hey thanks. I agree there are a lot of good Atari programs that can still be very useful but may now be thought of as abandon ware. IMO they deserve not only to be preserved for historical purposes but also used as an ongoing testament to the achievement of their authors. It's amazing to me just how...

Re: PH PDF Maker beta 3

Hi Thanks Wongck for this PDF maker. I've just set up the 68000 version using tos 2.06 on Gemulator on a Windows 7 PC. It wouldn't work at first because I followed the instructions given and the program to configure it couldn't find it's resource file. There wasn't a resource file in the 68000 folde...

Re: A couple abandonware apps

Hey thanks for these. I've been meaning to test out Wongk's pdf printer driver with Speedogdos for ages and now I have set it up. I do have version 4 and an update with manual but haven't got round to finding the original discs yet. So this will give me some motivation to have a go at trying it out.

I second that request.
Would be great to have it to experiment with the pdf printer driver developed by Wongk.
(English version preferred but other would do.)
