Re: new TT owner ;)

WinX is a excellent patch for almost all TOS versions, not only for Tos 3.06.
I also use it on my falcon/ct63. You can get it here.

I also find that colour TT is an excellent addition for the desktop, if you have a graphic card.

Should start downloading from this post onward.
There are couple more following it, you need to find one that works well for you.
Try to following the messy thread as several people were reporting back.

Re: Login time limit

Ok, so whole of Sunday (my timezone) I was in & out without any issues. This morning (monday), I was logged out and I need to logon in again. The only thing my windoze did was the weekly virus scan, no virus found. I don't think it goes deleting cookies. I don't think there was any patch either....

Re: Login time limit

I would check the PC for any special clean-up tools (like CCleaner or similar) or settings in the browser to clean up after use.

Re: Falcon gives no display

Well, should not say that.
My guess is that the speed is running in an insane speed and crashes the 060 almost immediately when it boot up & load the speed readings.
You need to some how lower it.
Only way I know is via the CT60 CPX.

Great !1 you got 030 mode.
In a rush so did not read everything above, did you try to reset the speed of the CT63 in 030 mode?

Re: Login time limit

I use the "remember me" tick.
I would say that 98% of the time it will remember me. I use Chrome & close it, shutdown my PC every day.
However, last week I remembered I have to re-login at least once.

Re: Falcon gives no display

On my Falcon, when the HDD is accessed, the floppy LED flashes. I also have the HDD access LED from the CT63 pinput (some where near the programming pins). It could be that your NVram settings are off, and bring it to a funny screen mode. I cannot remember which are the keys to press on reboot to cl...

Oh man that's sucks.
Have you also checked the original Falcon memory?
The CT63 fan should take power directly so it does not mean anything.
Is your HDD light coming on?

Re: SMSPlus for the Atari falcon

A reply to an unseen topic opener text. I'm intrigued. I saw the original post by OP ( not Keith ) hours ago.... wasn't taking too much attention to it, I think OP even had a link to his port. IIRC, OP mentioned that it needs CT60 or Aranym to work proper. Wonder why he would delete it away, leavin...

That kind of thing. Later on I learnt some tricks, so use to annoy the shop staff by typing in a handful of lines of code that meant they had to switch the machines off to get rid of it (at least on the Electon and BBC Micros, and the ZX Spectrum) Hah!! I remember that. :) Not me doing st...

Re: CPU/Processor Upgrade for the Atart ST

I don't see why one will not do it for the Atari.... it's an untapped market for them.
Otherwise, why they come over and ask for help one or more years ago?
So long as there are people working on it, like anything else, they will overcome the obstacles and make it happen.

Re: Sparemint, DHCP and Mounting NFS shares

Not sure if your SSH can go to the actual folder where the folders/files are.
If it is possible, try running

Code: Select all

chmod -R go+rx *

This will give world access on all file and folders.
