Re: PH Gmap - Google maps, Street View, Routes, GPX & more

From http://www.atari-forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=23528&start=125#p330119 Hmmm ... I have set Zwiev as default viewer in Thing. If I click twice on the picture it automaticaly opens Zview which displays the picture. When I click thumbnail in Phgmap it starts Zview but Zview doesnt show th...

Re: PH Gmap - Google maps, Street View, Routes, GPX & more

I also tried with Jinnee desktop, and it also works - long files names with spaces.
But the zView must be running before hand.

IDK what's with THING.
Is THING now opensource ?

Re: PH Gmap - Google maps, Street View, Routes, GPX & more

If the path contains spaces, try quotes. I think Thing Desktop will then know what to do. Yes, one of the first thing I tried was using double quotes and single quotes. But this is the error I get from THING. error.jpg Seems like THING included the quote as part of the filename (extension in this c...

Re: Phweather - weather app for Mint

Ok, seems like it does not like folder with spaces in it.... or Thing does not pass it to zView.
So LP is correct  it is a pathname issue on Thing.
Will need to read up some more about AV.

Re: Phweather - weather app for Mint

Unfortunately I just ran Thing 1.27 on my system and I get the same effect as Vido.
So it is not the Codec in my case, as same codec with Teradesk works.
I wonder what is different in the AV_View parameter for Thing vs Teradesk.

Re: BeeKey Atari on a key and now BeePi

EDIT: I should probably say thank you for this. This was out of the box pretty awesome. I really like the setup for the most part. I only wish that right click was double click in Teradesk. Isn't it default that right click acts as double left clicks ?? May be there a program set to be the activate...

Re: Phweather - weather app for Mint

When you click on the thumbnails, it will sent the JPG file to your system configured JPG viewer.
You should already have one defined by the Set Applications.

IDK when I will go, if I ever go, as cost is an issue with the company. May be just do telco meetings instead of workshops.

I am not surprise that stoopfix does not work for you. Like I mentioned it was for my own use, and so probably tailored to my system. As I use Mint most of the time, the standard 1024x768 resolution I use in TOS is only for fixing if Mint goes wrong. I cannot find the source code of stoopfix any mor...

Re: Converting 4 chars to a unsigned long?

C is very flexible, you can make your 4 bytes into long, short, char or a new type with 3 bytes in size.
Just that you need to know what you are doing.... and that's the pit fall as well ( you thought you know what you are doing).
