Re: Retrieve application filename

Something wrong with checking DTA or is there a more suitable way of getting the filename? Only with Fcntl ( PLOADINFO ) In the text from Julian F. Reschke "Atarium 82, November 1994, Identitätsfragen" (ST-Computer 11/1994) are some info. /* @(#)atarium/pinfo.c Julian F. Reschke, 31. Sept...

Re: Magic mac open sourced

Funny trivia: VDI had been provided by Behne&Behne (NVDI!) so if Andreas find sources (as opposed to binaries only) we will have NVDI (kernel) source code as a bonus. We will see, but my information is that the Behne&Behne make only the Falcon part from the MagiC VDI. But if it's like the A...

About the WDialog printer dialog:
wongck wrote:Booted Mint 1.19+ XaAES with SpeedoGdos.... the Wdialog does not open up.

That can not work, because you need the VDI function from 180 to 182. And at the moment they only in NVDI.

Yes, XaAES test the cookie.

Re: Determining VT52 console dimension

Trickier in Plain TOS, since there is no neat way to read the cursor position. Is also not the best way, the negative Line-A variables. http://toshyp.atari.org/en/006003.html v_cur_xy[2]; at -$1C is the X-Y position of text cursor. Thomas Binder use this in his VT52 patch for the Falcon.

Portfolio PC Card Drive HPC-301

Hello,

I attach a program. With them you can read a Portfolio memory card with the Milan. You need the PC Card Drive.

At the moment is it possible to read files and folders from the memory card.

With a special version I can read the directory from a card with the EtherNec on a Mega ST.

only TOS with patched xbios can work, when you call an xbios function if this function doesn't exist TOS just return a value different from 0 and so no crash but only for value between 0 to 127 !!!! My info is that the Milan TOS return the function number, if the function doesn't exist. All number ...

Why is it doing that?

You have no startup code in your projekt file. In the library folder is pcstart.s or .o. This must bevor test.c

Code: Select all

test.prg
=
pcstart.s   ; or pcstart.o

Maybe you use floating point. The ST version from AHCC don't support them. With PureC you can use it.
