Re: RTC module for MegaSTe MonSTer

I used a DS1338 with my Monster board OK, but I did need to add two resistors, in order for it to read the time correctly: http://www.atari-forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=27627&hilit=rtc+dallas+monster&start=450#p307565 It seems the RTC I got off Ebay is identical to the DS1338 on your ...

Re: My new, compact Atari -> VGA adapter.

possibly obvious question, but you don'ty have a hard drive connected do you ? it sounds like something is trying to force low res and crashing when in hi.

Re: The Atari ST Book and Writing Input Recognition...

I would have thought it was just because displays that filled the whole lid area were simply not available at the time (or not available at a price point that worked for Atari)

The Stacy is the same, 4x3 screen, anything wider would have been non standard, or much much taller.

STFM - no drive icons, WD1772 issue?

Hi Guys, I appear to have broken one of my FMs, I was trying to swap the 3.5 internal drive for a 5.25 internal drive (to verify some old disks) but after putting it all back to normal,it just boots to a desktop with no icons. I've tried a few different drives, same issue. also tried with an externa...

Re: Steem LE

sounds good, but would it make more sense to just add a 'simple mode' to SSE, which is on by default? then have an 'advanced options' setting which unlocks all the current extra RAM, FastForward stuff etc ? Or would that be too much work to maintain? I'm not a coder so genuinly not sure :)

Re: My new, compact Atari -> VGA adapter.

The switch will be available from Exxos' store by next week, hopefully I have to add; ran out of HD15-connectors and I've just placed an order with Mouser. Hopefully they will be here by Monday so I can send a bunch of them over to the UK. https://www.exxoshost.co.uk/atari/last/storenew/#0107 nice ...
