Re: Experimental Atari STE image enhancement website online

I see. Thanks a lot. I was wondering - is the site/engine http://atari.anides.de/ able to convert graphic the use would like to upload and convert? (Somehow I cannot see such an option there). If so - in what specific way could I obtain the DUO format with it? All the best, Y you need to drag an im...

Hi All, I got given this MEGA board this week and I'd like some help with working out what it has had done, as there are a load of mods on it :) Some of the mods seem incomplete, and some are unplugged, and some have wires that appear to have come loose since it's been in storage. Re: Mega STe power supply connector pinout needed

That is why I posted a link to the Ebay adapter cable, very simple to use and work well with my Mega STE, the P8 and P9 connectors plug right in to the power connector on the motherboard and it is very cheap. Maybe someone else can help with the pinout though. thanks, but I'd rather have the pinout...

I also have some other crappy screens on some MSA somewhere in my HDs if someone is interested in freak archaeology. Most of my work with STOS is lost, though. Yes, us Demozoo types are interested :) I see you've linked to the group page (https://demozoo.org/groups/40996/) so if you have time, crea...

Re: Trying to find the name of an adventure game

easiest way is get an older PC/laptop that has a floppy drive, then write the disk image to a floppy. USB floppy drives won't work though, it needs to be a PC with a proper floppy drive. He says this but he hasn't been getting nowhere fast these last few nights like I have! ;D In an ideal world it ...

Re: Trying to find the name of an adventure game

I can remember a time when playing a text adventure was, believe it or not, quite a social activity with one player (usually the fastest typist) at the keyboard and a few mates all trying to brainstorm their way past whatever the current problem was. That went all the way back to 'The Count' on the...

Re: 720k Floppies with Windows 10 and a USB Floppy drive.

I use a USB floppy on Win10 to copy FILES to 720k disks, and it works fine. Format the disk on the Atari, put it in the USB drive on your PC, copy files using Windows Explorer. Put the disk back in the ST. It works. HOWEVER you can't use it to write ST disk images, as 99% of ST disk images are unusu...
