Re: [pics] Homebrew Mega STe case

I know some of the origin story of that motherboard...... Well, a group of 100 or so Mega STe motherboards. They came from Toad Computers in the USA. Before they were at Toad, Atari Corp had shipped the full systems from a warehouse in California to a company to destroy them. This company crushed t...

[pics] Homebrew Mega STe case

Hi All, I aquired a Mega Ste recently, but it was missing several components, incluing the case itself. I've got it working OK now, so it needs a box to put it in. These pics show the progress so far, it's not finished and its not neat or tidy, but it will hopefully protect the board from me droppin...

Mega STe - using ASCI port without internal board?

Hi all,

I have got my mega ste working :) but it doesn't have the internal hard drive board, so as I understand it, the external ASCI port will not work.

Can I attach an Ultratan directly to the connector on the board, or do I need some sort of adapter ?

cheers :)

note to people reading this - a lot of the auctions this user is linking to are to different seller accounts, so may not be 100% genuine.
We are looking into this, but personally even if the crazy prices don't put you off, I'd steer clear.

that error will hopefully go away when the next round of forum upgrades happens, but alas, I don't have a timescale for that yet.

Re: ST Recover, a new ST disk utility on Windows

Spiny what would you recommend for a seized floppy disk. I have the ICD Host Adapter disk but it is seized, I would really like to recover it. Russ easiest option: download another copy from the internet :) but to fix a duff disk you are going to need to take it apart and clean it by had carefully,...

I can't make it work, also the last two disk images (I haven't tried others) seems corrupted because it has 13.872.738 bytes used, who needs a hard disk? XD the disk image isn't corrupted, the weird file size is because of a Windows/Mac system folder thats also on the disk. If you just copy all the...

I see. Thanks a lot. I was wondering - is the site/engine http://atari.anides.de/ able to convert graphic the use would like to upload and convert? (Somehow I cannot see such an option there). If so - in what specific way could I obtain the DUO format with it? All the best, Y you need to drag an im...

Re: Help identify the mods on this MEGA

The board with three chips on it has connectors that look like they will connect to the 'sockets' that are addedd to the RAS area resistors.
