Re: Using 4096 colours

NeoChrome Master ( http://dhs.nu/files.php?t=single&ID=25 ) can run in STe mode, but to avoid confusion, the STe has a PALETTE of 4096 colours - low resolution can still only show 16 different colours the same as the normal ST, but the 16 colours on the STe can be from the bigger palette. Progr...

Re: Using 4096 colours

I found an old topic on the same subject, but maybe there is new knowledge nowadays, so I figured I'd ask again, after almost 10 years. I read that the STE can display 4096 colours instead of just the 512. Can DEGAS+ use these extra colours? I've always had only the 3 bits per colour at my disposal...

Guys, I'm sorry to revive an old thread, but the original author's website isn't accessible anymore. Do someone have the files mirrored somewhere? Web Archive also doesn't have the files, only the pages. I've missed this back then :-( Thanks! this link: http://www4.pair.com/gribnif/downloads/ still...

Re: Hatari 1.8, Windows, how to change drive letter in file selector

At least on Linux, it's possible to register Hatari as handler for Atari programs, not just disk images. Hatari even includes a script for that: https://git.tuxfamily.org/hatari/hatari.git/plain/tools/hatari-tos-register.sh Does Windows have any kind of facility to register handlers for binary file...

Re: Running physical Dungeon Master on Windows

By far and away the easiest method would be to use an existing disk image, such as this one:

http://www.exxoshost.co.uk/atari/games/ ... /A_097.zip

ST Recover will not work with a USB drive in the way you want it to work.

Re: Hatari 1.8, Windows, how to change drive letter in file selector

Why not just register Hatari as handler for *.st files, or *.ST.gz files (latter to use less space and differentiate them from potential other files that might use *.st extension)? Then Hatari would be automatically started when you click on a *.st(.gz) file on your desktop. I expect the USB drive ...

Re: Hatari 1.8, Windows, how to change drive letter in file selector

Use the command mklink in an elevated command prompt (i.e. run the ciommand prompt as administrator) use /D for directory I was thinking of directory junctions (command switch "/J") because these don't require administrative privileges to create. Didn't know about that switch - works fine...

If you can hear the keyclick, then its probably the Shifter chip, as the ROMs and RAM are needed to get as far as running TOS. But pics of the screen corruption may help.
