Re: Minimig (Amiga) core discussion

I'm seeing random video corruption/noise in Minimig_20181215 that I'm not seeing in Minimig_20181208.

Re: Arcade cores

If someone can test test this for me and report any problems before I port Joust, Bubbles and Splat. Very nice, thanks! :) A quick look says it's running pretty well but the sound seems to be playing too quickly. Game speed itself (using a very simple timed L/R character movement test) seems about ...

Re: Mister Gameboy core

I have observed the same blinking video (HDMI/vsync_adjust=1) in Gameboy_20181130. Running SMW it was blinking randomly every few seconds or so, entering the first tunnel and remaining there for a bit caused the blinking to go absolutely stroboscopic. This is not occurring in Gameboy_20181118.

Most WHDLoad games work fine, unless they require an '020... then it starts to go downhill.

DOH! :D Indeed it does work, and even in STEroids which is hilariousfast.

I use HD images because you can stick lots on them and they're easily managed in Steem.

Not with the compiled core for sure, there's nowhere to place the C64 and 1541 Jiffy roms.

Yeah, I wish the 'scandoubler_disable' was a core specific setting because of the need to use an upscaler with this core.

Re: Atari 5200 Core

Is there a specific test you would like me to do? No, sounds like it's working as it should. Thanks for the sanity test. If your controller works fine on a real 5200, then it could be that the adapter is wired differently than others so the MiST mapping is referring to unused buttons (these buttons...

Thanks, yes I noticed that when I heard key presses in other cores :) I'm still trying to figure out exactly why the last key row refused to work for so long on the MiST, but nothing yet. It's extremely odd that it worked without issue in every other test and platform, up to and including a cord str...

Re: Atari 5200 Core

Yes, it was connected without a DB9 or USB stick. I just went an unplugged the mouse to see if that had any effect and now its working. But it's working with or without the mouse in, so that's not it. Mind you I'm not complaining that its working, but I haven't changed anything and it most certainly...

Re: Atari 5200 Core

Well the sticks and keypads are notoriously unreliable, it might need a clean! It's not the stick, I tested it on the real 5200 and it works fine :) Can someone who has a 5200dapter/working stick verify that their * | 0 | # buttons work properly with that core/FW? Or does that rule everyone out... ...

Re: Atari 5200 Core

Is it me or does the 5200daptor no longer work properly? The * / 0 / # keys no longer seem to respond on the 5200 stick, all else is still working fine.

The USB keyboard equivalents Z/X/C seem to still work.

Re: AGA core for mist

I haven't tried yet kickstart v1.3 rev 34.5 (1987)(commodore)(a500-a1000-a2000-cdtv)[o].rom but I've found it's the same as the one I'm using with success. That seems to answer it right there - that's an overdump ROM by the tag, and it does work. A 512K image must be required currently as the non-o...
