mass storage ct63 > 128GB

Hello,

is there someone who is using a mass storage (internal ide) with his falcon (ct63) with more than 128GB? I can't get my delock 62495 and mSATA ssd to run beyond 128GB. Below everything is working fine but beyond I cannot write or read any data.

I am using HDDRIVER 10.17.

Re: New CT60 Boot ROM 1.05

It is made for CTPCI-less CT60,CT63 and CT60e. Use the A version if you don't have any SuperVidel installed; use B or C if you have. If you make a mistake you can always flash from 030 mode. I want to give this version a try. At the moment I have the following version installed (but no ctpci, that ...

Re: Midi and Milan

I now have a Midiman Winman 1x1 in my Milan and with that card and the above mentioned driver midi works (both Cubase and MusicEdit).

Seems that the Midiman MM-401 doesn't work with that driver.

Milan: looking for the programming cable

Hi,

I have one of the early Milans which unfortunately suffers from the SCSI bug. Does anyone have the (out of stock) programming cable for the Milan which is necessary to get rid of the bug?

Re: Midi and Milan

Yes, see above. :D

The card came with MROS driver (midiman1.drv) and with that and the latest MROS 3.45 the card is selectable in Cubase 3.01. As the card is an isa card it is set to irq address330H (default) and IRQ2 (default too). I have two other (pci)cards in my milan that use IRQ 9 and 11.

Midi and Milan

Hi, is there anyone using Midi on the Milan? I just recently got a Midiman MM-401 isa card for my Milan with Cubase MROS drivers but I cannot produce any output on my Yamaha Keyboard (with an ST everything works as expected so keyboard and cables are fine). I tried Sweet Sixteen 2.73 but it crashes,...

Thanks for the update. I still hope that one day Willie's will be finished now that DSP emulation in Hatari is getting better and better. Remember what Thomas once said:

Re: SV FW rev 10 and new Svethlana driver

Yes, I forgot to mention that the Ethernat also has only four packet buffers, two in each direction. But this is its maximum, because of how the ethernet MAC+PHY chip 91C111 is designed. I'm surprised that you got as high as 600KB/s on the ethernat, but maybe you're just much closer to the test ser...

Re: SV FW rev 10 and new Svethlana driver

Hi all! :) Yesterday evening we put a new SV firmware at nature.atari.org, rev 10. Thanks for the new firmware. Great news. One question: What's the speed of svethlana with the new drivers compared to ethernat now? Edit: Did the above mentioned test on my machine with ethernat. Got approx. 600k/sec...

I just saw that you already put the atari updater program onto your website. Thank you. Downloaded, programmed, rebooted, everything's fine. 8)

BTW, programming the new firmware took 1 minute 39 seconds.

Re: SV FW rev 9

Hi! Yesterday we added a new firmware, rev 9, to nature.atari.org. You need a JTAG cable to upgrade. The new FW contains a FIFO port register for queuing up to 56 blitter operations. The memory map has also been updated to reflect this. That's great news. Can you explain what the advantage of this ...

It helped. Perhaps not for my current project (I replaced the fan with a very quiet one a few days ago) but as I also own several other falcons it was a very useful information for future improvements. :D

Falcon replacement fan

Hi all, I like to replace the noisy fan in my Falcon. A nice service guy at sepa-europe suggested to replace it with a fan of this type: MFB40H12L but it has a noise of 17 dB(a) which seems pretty loud to me. The rest of the specs is: rotor speed: 3,800rpm, max. air flow 7.1 m^3/h (http://www.sepa-e...

I've never liked fVDI, but it was my initial choice for the SuperVidel. When I saw the sources, the "portable" driver examples, it pissed me off. I won't touch it until it's properly cleaned up (not by me). Nova VDI rocks though. Now that sources of both fVDI and Nova VDI are available pe...

I'll add it, then. At least for the digital DVI output. Great. Thanks in advance. Normal, unfortunately. Didier haven't blitter-patched TOS very much, and since we can't snoop the operations of the blitter, it current looks like that. I see. Well at least I don't have to be concerned any longer tha...

Aniplayer) -- PeP Well, as my monitor is capable of 1920x120...
