GodLib

A guy quoted pink's PM on Atari Age so I thought I'd post the link here, too:

Amazing work. Very well done. Giana Sisters was the only reason I switched on my Amiga for quite some time.

Re: Something wicked this way comes this Fall :)

Yeah I hear you sh3-rg. Surely you can appreciate how this has blown up into something it didn't need to. There was ample opportunity to rectify this in a more reasonable way - taking it public was not my decision or preferred choice. Can't disagree but also can't help but suspect those kids are pa...

Greyfox is not obliged to answer to you or anyone else for that matter. Rather than ask the question directly or without prejudice, you essentially wrote that the credibility of his project relied on a particular answer. lol, if you begin moderating to this extent you're not just creating a rod for...

Above post was a personal attack and contravenes our simple forum rules . Dal, why are you bending over backwards for someone crying "personal attack! personal attack!" when that member themselves is not afraid to throw around petty, puerile and unchecked insults on this very board? http:...

No they did not changed their name they joined another crew... ELITE existed already. It was still Ruthless and myself and Dominion/D-Coder joined (remember those late Pompey menus in fullscreen that were very un-Pompey-like - that guy - he later joined The Lemmings, as I did) but the menus went ou...

Don't know why he cramped everything in one picture, doesn't really help. You have enough space on ebay for free for several photo's ;) Either because I CBA or because you only get 1 "free" photo here - either will do ;-) When I have something that needs loads of photos I usually stick th...

Re: Falcon Iomega Zip Drive

Does the Zip have a software lock on the disk? I am sure there was some part of the HD Driver package that was ZIP specific ( or removable media ) I think I remember that, too, it was v7.something that came with one of my falcons and it had ZIP options in one of the menus. ZIP drives were handy bac...

Impressive work indeed, glad to see you're succeeding in your ideas! :) By the way, talking of gaming systems ports, someone ported Mario Bros to Genesis: http://devster.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=dev&action=display&thread=613 Maybe this could be converted to STe (needing certainly a sim...

Re: The X68000 games porting experiment

Interesting stuff, similar to what CJ has been doing for ST games to Jaguar. Maybe we should get him to take a look at the X68000, there are some nice arcade ports on it. AFAIK the Jaguar has "only" 2 MB of RAM which is not much. IMHO this could be a problem. Cheers Sascha + 2, 4 or 6mb o...

Kizza and a possible virus... Sounds simply amazing ... But you won't know how amazing unless you download it (oddly 2xJPG inside a ZIP... I'm not sure which JPEG setting were used, but they've managed to make the files bigger than default [2x2 1x1 1x1] settings would have with a compression factor...

Re: New Falcon Game release - DOWNFALL!

I guess the trackball would have a better response as that has the 'rolling' / continuos input? Trackballs are a direct replacement for mice so they're supported for free if the game supports mice (I use a trackball with my falcon to save desk space, 'TBT') I think GGN has been thinking about games...

Re: New Falcon Game release - DOWNFALL!

Driving controllers can be converted, but they're not that great apparently. Paddles only go so far then stop so they're not suitable for conversion afaik. Doesn't mean someone else might not be able to hack them for st/falcon or support them, but the things I was talking about are the same kind you...

If anyone is feeling brave enough to convert a power pad/jaguar pad into a dual-use spinner & regular pad, take a look at ZeroSquare's post over on AtariAge : http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/191571-building-a-cheap-rotary-controller/ . Very simple to do and the parts cost pennies, much bett...

Re: Retro Gamer Mag: Need Some Help On ST Exclusives!

Shame LGD is offline, you could take a look at all the ST games he's claimed to have written that were actually written by other people. You could take a look at Atari Age as see all the Spectrum games he claimed to have written, that were written by other people or did not even exist. Or the later ...
